I've been listening to a review of Opeth's discography and it got me thinking about Ghost Reveries. I remember banging out that album ad nauseum as my first listen to the band. I can't even remember where I picked it up. It might have been when we used to borrow CDs from the local library and rip them to Windows Media Player to wma files (arghh the conversion to mp3). The CD must've had a "new" sticker on it.
This old Devin album popped up on Spotify and I jumped back in. I forgot what a mind-dump of music it was. Reflects what he reckons he was going through at the time with his sobriety issues.
