Not bad location for the new stadium tbh

The most important is the design though. Has to be a quality well known name that creates the blueprint.

So Milan can leave to build their own stadium. We stay at Meazza after getting a good deal from Sala to stay there.

Lust to go for the cheap option is too high for Zhangs.

Though in this case, I'm all for it. Don't want to leave Meazza. Find a way to make it work. City is desperate enough to keep us there.

GM is useless structure, it’s already crumbling, that reality means it will cost an absolute fortune to renovate up to a modern standard. I doubt it’s even possible without massively altering the appearance of the stadium and its structure, the whole thing the authorities have done everything in their power to prevent.

Additionally owning a protected building is a massive problem and hindrance as it binds you with incredibly restrictive legislation that binds you on hands and feet in what can be done.

But the stadium needs to be handed over for free or else it’s not an attractive offer. I also doubt any owner is stupid enough to accept any deal that doesn’t involve full ownership.

I’m really only for moving, the clubs future is more important than a structure that you can’t keep alive for ever under any circumstances, it’s just a matter of time before the structure would not live up to safety protocols and no sort of renovation is going to change that.

Cardinale.

He confirmed with confidence that they are building the stadium in San Donato . So they probably have that reported PIF funding for a 1/3 of the club or maybe more 40%.

He also said that he is creating a company that could build new stadiums to anyone in Italy.

An american knows his business! Imagine coming to Italy not even speaking the language and having ambition to dethrone Rube and his daddy EXXOR ( a 50 bn enterprise valuation company)

"It would be the second "New Stadium" built in Italy after 2011, the Juventus Stadium. That facility has 40 thousand seats, the one we are working on will have 70 thousand. We are not trying to bring just a stadium, but an American-style multimedia entertainment campus to Milan. Milan would be the perfect place and it would be good for not only Milan, but also for Italy and Serie A. I want to create a company to build the stadium and then also use it to build the stadium of all the other teams in Serie A On the one hand, obviously the goal is to win the Scudetto, on the other I want to help Serie A bridge the gap with the other championships"

Rozzano mayor : he confirmed that there's been no contact since October with Inter.

:einstein:

( from red and black )

You know, how we have managed to survive with all the financial difficulties since the banter era and we still have them, and its going in the right direction now with new sponsors that actually pay us!! Thanks to amazing management we have WON under these financial restraints, but the owned stadium and youth sector ( U23) is the key to survival and Milan is already starting with both in the summer 2024.

Zhang getting a new deal with Oaktree won't get us nowhere sadly. His will to hold us at all costs. And one potential ownership gone too with PIF in Milan soon.

Sala: 'I want clarity from Milan, they tell us what they want to do at San Siro and not to the newspapers. Inter, Zhang is interested'

So now he wants clarity, eh. When both clubs presented a beautiful and awesome Populus project to stay there and make it one of the most beautiful stadiums in the world with nostalgic Meazza in part staying with the all around greenery around he only stalled and stalled and stalled. We wanted clarity then!!

Fucking idiot.

Ordine (milanista) : For San Siro everything is ok: now Zhang is back, confirms the control on Inter and buys San Siro for 100 million".

Don't have one.
Holy shit, the amount of bullshit said in recent times on this theme is mesmerizing. All three sides will probably drown in it before they come to any sort of conclusion.

Are we popping off again about PIF and Milan with absolutely zero proof behind these rumors? I feel like if those rumors had been confirmed as more serious, there would've been loud alarm bells popping off all over this place because of what it would mean with Milan being funded by a state with bottomless coffers.

This may end up happening, and we're probably fucked if it does, but until it does it comes off as fear-mongering.

So will the land owner in Rozzano give Inter extra time for the decision as AFAIK the answer from Inter should arrive by the end of April? I've read they might give 3 more months but let's see.

I've read Sala would be willing to sell Meazza to the clubs but I remain doubtful what this WeBuild shit will be.
