Yep Guiseppe Meazza is quite far from nearest metro station. It would be nice if the new stadium is nearer.

Fuck wanting a new stadium we are way past that. Inter NEEDS a new and privately owned stadium.

Also fuck etihad and emirates they suck. I don't like their architectural style at all.

But if it is closer to the San Siro area and have a public transport station(train or metro) then IMO it is quite good spot for stadium. It wouldnt be too far from center of Milano.

It's far from the center (Duomo) but I think it's near Rho Fiera metro station and still west Milano is the most populated area of the city. From what I read, part of the Stadium will be at area of Comune di Rho, small town near Milano.

Yeah I know it is pretty far from Duomo but so is Guiseppe Meazza which is old stadium. So if we can build a new stadium in about same distance(couple kilometers futher) where Meazza is located then I think it is pretty ok. Getting the new stadium near to the city center than Meazza is impossible.

Lets see where the actual location will be.

I dont mind it being far from the Duomo, because the farther it is, the cheaper the land will be. I want it to be well connected, thats it.

I was lost for an hour after my first visit there. Thankfully, we just beat Milan 2-1 (07/08) and it wasn't that cold. :eek:blivious:

Btw, I don't know if this has been mentioned before but I just realized that Napoli was also pushing very hard for a new stadium when Marco Fassone was there. Hiring him was truly a sign from Moratti that we are DEAD SERIOUS about this project.

Massimo Moratti went to the mayor's office with Luca Brasi. He then held a gun to his head & said that either his signature or his brains will be on the agreement for the new stadium!

GRANDE!!! :proud:

Meazza is so old and so ill maintained that when you put in a plug in the power socket the socket falls off. Most of the seats are kids sizes. The surface is a problem, it can never be converted into a modern facility.

Staying in the Meazza for 10 more years is like giving Cordoba a new contract over 10 more years.

The question about new stadium or not shouldn't be decided by emotions.

Milan will not take Meazza as a sole owner, to some time maybe but they will be getting new stadium sooner or later
