That pass to Dumfries to set up the first goal was hella sexy. He can be a frustrating player sometimes but quickly becoming one of my all-time favorite inter players to watch. I hope he can somehow miraculously survive the Suning sacrificial chopping block…

Seems to come more alive when Frattesi came on the field.

Hopefully the midfield gels together.

No shit, Sherlock, ofc he is staying. You just have to see how Liverpool bolstered their midfield

is that the reason you think he's staying?

Well there are many reasons, he is happy, we demand huge money for him, etc etc

Kinda believe in all of those altogether

There's only 4 Liverpool players that make more than Barella. And he wouldn't join them unless that number was reduced to 1, even if he wanted to leave Inter. He has all the options in the world if he wants to leave.

There's no point in believing the narrative that there's somewhere better for our players to go. You see that the players themselves don't feel that way.

Barella, Bastoni, Martinez, even freaking Skriniar refused to leave until he was told he needs to leave. You see guys like Perisic and Sanchez begging to return as well. Or guys like Hakimi who have yet to enter their prime.

Stop with this defeatist narrative that players want to move to the fucking Premier League. If that was the case, Bastoni would have been playing at Tottenham now and Barella wouldn't even join Inter in the first place and listened only to Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United when they were contacting Cagliari back then.

Lol hold your horses. I said no such thing THAT HE WANTED to go to EPL

I even said OFC, without a doubt, that he is staying

I see you are bored, Brehme, I don't want to argue with you especially when I agree with all of your points, more or less

You have the habit of making it sound like an achievement that a player doesn't move there.

Heck, we've seen that players are fast to move to the Saudi league in a way that PL fans fantasized their beloved league having that kind of pull, which is what makes this situation extremely funny.

When all things are equal, we see that guys like Pavard who are highly rated prefer Inter over PL Champions League sides like Arsenal and Manchester United.

The players that "dream of" the Premier League are usually younglings who grew up with this narrative and don't have anyone close to them mature enough who's been to places to explain to them that it's not some fantasy land that the media makes it appear.
Some are genuinely into that shit but they're a minority. Others like it because there's zero pressure, so it's indeed a dream job for people with limited ambition and low pressure tolerance. But most just imagine things because that's the narrative they grow up with. And the fans are doing it even more and are perpetuating this notion, because they're not supposed to know any better.

This isn't the place to hype up the PL and I've replied to you not because I'm bored, but because you're a a repeat offender of this PL supremacy concept. All I'm saying it's invalid. And presenting Barella as someone who's main concern for not joining Liverpool is their midfield depth just adds to that, even if that wasn't your intention.

The PL probably doesn't have more top players than Serie A at the moment. Compute this information and let it sink it once you realize it's actually true.

He's upset that Serie A is no longer at parity with the Premier League and will not reach it again within our lifetimes. Let it go bro, it's already over.
