as soon as he breaks through over vecino...our midfield will be boss. He is dynamic and ruthless - love the way he plays

He’s honestly better technically then I thought. I know it was Finland but some of that close control and juggling was really impressive

He was great. Solid in first half controlling the ball and very nicely pushing in the attack after Sensi caused penalty.

Heard he grew in second half, wasn’t very good in the first half IMO.

It’s great though to have Italy basing their midfield around Inter’s.

First time in 10 years I'm not going full loco about our midfielders

The Italian duo+Brozo are classy af.

In every team sport around the world and on every team, there's that one player that who has no discernible skills other than determination and being in the right place and right time. And sadly, no matter who the manager/coach is of said team, that player will win them over. Vecino is that guy for us.

nah it's just that he don't wanted to put too much pressure on Barella that had a bad pre season and still needs time. But i think he is ready now. If not Udinese then for sure against Milan. (specialy because we have to play against Praga in that week)

Sensi has been total different level than Barella so far. I am not suprised Barella has been on the bench.

Against Finland Barella didn't impress me. He had an ok game but nothing more.

Still early days. I hope he improves.

I don't think they perform the same role to be compared like that.

Yes, both are just central midfielders however Sensi is more attacking minded and Barella is more of a controlling/defensive minded player. You can see it from his stats from the last two seasons.

I don't think it's reasonable to be expecting many goals from Barella and we don't really need them if both Brozovic and Sensi are on the pitch. I'm just not sure if Conte would be willing to play the three together as they are quite short and we'd lose out on most aerial challenges.
