Weird how Conte has this will of playing players like Candreva and D'Ambrosio but doesn't give this guy a chance instead of Gagli. How the fuck can those 3 even play in CL?

He's very short tempered which is a risk pretty much all the time, but there is no question he is far better than Gagliardini and Vecino.

Goal goal, him and Brozo need a quality companion in the midfield.

Enough with the midgets who get bullied around by any player that is normal sized.

Lukaku isn't a midget and he was bullied all the time. So your premise isn't right.

This lad definitely plays with heart.

Once he learns to play with brain he will be even better.

Good that he got the goal. He can build self-confidence from there.

Learn to play with brain.

Thats the curse of Inter midfielders since Muntari and Guarin.

Luckily, the starting level from where to learn is not that low for Barella.

Needs to play central to play his best game. Brozo needs to move the fuck over.
Barella's physicality might give the impression that he isnt intelligent, but all.of his target and movements were correct. He can play very well with sensi and brozovic beside him.

This is the challenge to all players making the step up. Can he bring this intensity every game? Can he bring the intensity when it's 0-0 and we're not trailing? Because he did this at Cags too; play a game like this, then play 3-4 games very passively.

Very interesting to see that it's him and brozo that are clashing position-wise, when we all thought it would be sensi and brozo clashing.

Barella is a midget though.

Seriously he needs to start all the games with alongside Brozo and Sensi.

Agreed. I'd bet that Barella takes it to the next level.

Sensi has been twice as good as Brozovic so far this season. Unless you've been watching different games where Brozovic has impressed you the last 2 games.

I like the fight I saw in him today. Doesn’t take losing lying down.

He’s also a when the going gets tough player. When intensity levels raise I feel like he raises his level. I’ve seen that with Italy too. Again the question is can he do it consistently over the course of a season, time will tell.

In the post-apocalyptic scenario of the last twenty minutes, despite the confusion and a couple of shots that ended up on secondo and terzo anello of San Siro, he provided much needed grinta and a vital goal, and we were craving for both (same goes for Politano trying and take on Slavia Prague defenders).

He'll learn how to use his head and control his temper.

What I liked that he scored and didn't celebrate hard, but ran back to restart cos the job wasn't done.

He is one who will play with his heart every single game. Hope he can improve technically, and especially on his shooting.

Nick said to the media that Sparta were much ahead in physical preparation than Inter players...

Well yeah it was clearly visible tbh.

This is so important. Other than Skriniar, there is noone on the team that shows the kind of heart, determination and frankly, anger at being down or drawn, than Barella. I think Sensi has that fire too - but we need more players like that. So many casual fuckers on this team.

Sensi has been total different level than Barella so far. I am not suprised Barella has been on the bench.

Against Finland Barella didn't impress me. He had an ok game but nothing more.

Still early days. I hope he improves.

Barella starting to play like his transfer fee made me expect. IMO clear improvement against Milan and scored the equalizer agains Prague.
