Not forced, probably just oblivious. Isn't his saying that he's a Cagliari fan but he sympathizes Inter enough to say that he's not an inter fan?
If anything it says the opposite. That he rooted for the local team but he always liked Inter.

Anyway, the fact that he refused to join any club except for Inter makes him pretty much an interista for me.

If you say so. I guess we have a different definition to what being a fan means.

LOL common now grasping at straws... Again he said i was not an inter fan in the interview... What the fuck more do you need? Yes Inter was probably his favourite big team but he was a Cagliari fan period... He was not an interista like most of us on here are for example.... Well maybe his parents being interistas has something to do with him having inter shirts?
Also i have/had jerseys of not inter player as a kid by no stretch was i a fan of those teams...

Also nothing wrong with that, I just really dont understand interistas need to spread this when it s simply not true...
And he himselfe said so on multiple occasions...

If it makes you guys sleep better at night calling him an interista be my guest just dont spread this as the truth cause it s not..
He didn't say "I was not an Inter fan", he mentioned Inter in a supplementary manner to supporting Cagliari as his local team. It was rather clear

<< Quella era la maglia di Ronaldo se non sbaglio ma ne avevo una anche di Recoba. Come ho sempre detto sono un tifoso del Cagliari ma ho sempre simpatizzato Inter>>

Like I've always said, I am a Cagliari supporter but I always had a sympathy with Inter. That's pretty much what this means. That he supported Inter as well.

The time he said he's not an Inter fan was the season before he signed, but we pretty much had him locked at the time. He was asked if it's true that he's an Inter fan and he said no, but his entire family is and he was always happy when they won.

I mean everyone was reporting that the reason Barella came to Inter and rejected offers from Juventus, Milan, Liverpool, Napoli and Arsenal was because he was an Inter fan... That was never disputed by anyone.

I don't get why you're being defensive, or offensive for that matter, in this case. It is a known fact that Barella has always been an Inter fan. Same way probably more than half of us here support our local teams as well. Just becasue there's a higher frequency his other team gets to play against Inter doesn't make him any less of a fan.

I get you don't like the ifs and buts, it is what it is.

With Dimarco it's obvious since, he's also from the city. But what does that say about all of us? :D
I tend to be biased in favor of those who attend games, but you're meddling with stuff that can take you to the extremes here :p

No its not about the ifs and the buts when ever he is asked what he s a fan of or what he was a fan of he says cagliari....
At most he said i liked inter cause my family/ i had sympathie for Inter and in my book that s just not being a fan...
Notice also he never calls him selfe a tifoso of inter he does so with cagliari...

How many of us if asked are you an interista are you an inter fan would say i m a tifoso of X but i like inter...
It s not about being in the stadium for me theres a difference between being a fan and liking a team.. Quite sure all of us are Inter fans...

Anyways it does not really matter i just get irriitated by interistas calling him interista since birth when he clearly never said that... and always names another team when asked what he s a fan off..

bidding war and price close to what we got for Lukaku. Then listen..... 50 m .... go tell them to eat shit.

Liverpool doesn't drop that type of money and doesn't have players to offer us. So unless United really really want him I don't see it happening.

🚨 Manchester United are now in for Nicolò Barella, although it won't be easy to get a deal done.

He still has three years left on his contract and it would take around €80M to persuade Inter to sell.

I mean a lot of people support their hometown local club and a club (Big ones normally) they love in the country.
