IMO its good that we are not buying Pizarro at this stage ... he is still an unknown quantity ... as in just a year of good play doesn't make him a safe bet still ... so i would rather assess him another year or two before bringing him in ... call me a cynic if u want to ...

Unknown quantity? Wait for him for two years? Get Real.

I am just frustrated really. I have seen this saga before where it takes the entire summer for us to get a player, only to lose out to another team.

Not only we have to get crap from Lega Calcio and the corruption, but also the ineptness of our management.

I see other clubs sealing deals early and smoothly, and getting excellent players. While it takes us forever, I am really getting sick of this.

It's so important to have a squad ready early. I don't want the players to develop the chemistry in November when we are out of the race.

Everything must be done by July's retreat, Time in Money.

Yeah, but it has limits. I'd love Inter as long as the management loves and cares about us.

I tolerate all the crap we get from the officiating, and how others win. But it hurts 100x more to get screwed by your own family, and that's what happening. As days go by and we don't sign anyone, I am becoming more and more like ZZANG.

Veron played really good last season, and from December the team played good (and Veron was doing great), I don't get why, for example, Hamed is against that move, I think is clever........besides there's still a possibility that we're gonna get Pizarro too. (and that wouldn't mean a waste of money, Veron is coming almost for free, loan deal I think)

It's true that we see other clubs sealing deals early and smoothly, and getting good players.....well we are trying to get Samuel.....and for example it's easier for Milan to get Janku from Udinese than for us to get Samuel from Real, or Chivu from Roma.
We are linked to a lot of players, prolly for most of them is not true that we want them, so it seems that we are taking forever to get deals.

And we don't know what our managment is planning to do, maybe they were waiting to secure Veron and then go after Pizarro, and prolly they are having a hard time trying to get Samuel (ad they should keep trying), that's why it seems we are not doing things right..... We secured Veron, in the next few hours Solari and Samuel/Chivu will be ours, and who knows about Pizarro...just need a new LB and we are done.

I know they've made mistakes in the past, a lot of them, but I don't know why I have the feeling is not gonna be the same this year, like I think they have learned their lesson.

Guys i wanna clarify, is this a loan or a purchase, Half the sites r saying its a loan, while other half r saying its a purchase. Anywayz it would be better for us if it is a loan, i have never really liked this manu and chelasea drop out, but i wish him all the luck

And who knows what other talent will be out there in the next two years :D :D

How can that be good. Did you acctually see him the last two season. This is a mistake that is gonna hunt os for eternaty. we get Veron who only can play for us in two seasons instead of a player who has been better and who we could have had the next 6 years. And he is first entering the top of his career now. so yes he is a safe bet atleaste just as safe as Veron. the only good thing about it is that we didn't buy him, that would have been a waste.

I'm tired of our boards lack of long term solution, instead they keep on making short term solution that we have used the last decade. And what have that strategy helped us not a bit. It has acctually harmed us more then it has helped us.

Veron is great! I hope he stays with us for 2 years, not just one, after helping we get the CL and Scudetto, he can go back Argentina. However, I hope we get Pizzaro too, so that we don't need to make any big adjustment 2 years later when Veron left.

Because this is a dead-end solution. If we had a player who was willing to play for, say next 4-5 years or so, it would be fine. But we are getting a player who will leave in 2 years for sure. We are always getting short-term solutions.

Our transfer board is now feeling smart and happy that they are getting players for free. Yeah fool yourself, you can get Roque Junior for free as well, let's do it. Oh wait, we will pay $5M to get him in Aug.31.

I don't know what's up with you lately Hamed, you seem pissed off at the world.

You want us to win the Scudetto next year and at the same get players who are young and committed to Inter for a long time? Plus buy such players spending a lot of money without creating a huge debt?

Who the hell is kidding himself here???

It could be the heat wave here :D

But seriously Frisko, I am really frustrated. I have seen this scenario for 7 years now. We start negotitiation for players that we need early, and we never seal the deal.

I am sick of never getting the players that we need. Why is it that we always look for the same position year after year? How man years have it been since we are looking for a tall CD? for a LB? For a RW? For a LW?

Year after year and it's the same problem. I am sorry but I can't jump and wave the 'everything is good' flag.

Milan got their players early, Juve got them early, Barca got them early, Roma got them early, and us??? I am sick and tired of that.

seen this scenario for 7 years???

this is different, we have Veron, a good playmaker on LOAN for 2 years. So practically free, if u want past 7 years, what would we normally do?

no matter, ill remind you.

Old Moratti days we would go buy a player with big potentiol like Pizarro for a huge sum and he would not live up to it. Emre, VDM, Farinos ekh i cant be bothered naming a hundered more.

now thats the old days, if u ask me things are changing.

Yes, things are changing. Instead of paying big sums for players with unfufilled potential, we are getting average players for free. Both suck if you ask me, I'd rather pay money for a great player.

And how can you compare Pizarro with Emre, VDM and Farinos? First, he has Serie A experience which none did. He is coming to Inter at 26, and near the peak of his career.

Anyway, we will have to see what happens. There is a chance that we can still get Pizarro, and I am having some hope we will get him.

Hamed, seems you are just too much worried.I do understand the problem but still, wasn't it you as well who said that world class players dun come cheap ?? Well, getting world class players ain't easy as well; so lets just be patience and I do have a feeling that at the end of the day we will definitely get Samuel. That's what I feel though, but you never know happens in the future.

Milan signed stam, Jankulovsky way ahead before the new season, but I dun think at all that same cud have been done for Samuel; coz Samuel's situation is a very complex one.

As for Pizarro, I really got no idea what Inter's plan is ?? I say - GRAB him rite away.

Read somewhere that in Italy, June is last month of the year to submit finanacial stuffs. So, are we waiting till the end of June to complete other transfers ?? It's different with Samuel, what abt for others ??

And I also think that the Coppa Italia Final's the main reason why we haven't been able to make much moves in the transfer market as we wanted all our players to focus in the Cup, which they did successfully. :star:

Last but not the least - PATIENCE ;)
