Come on guys, we are allowed to 16 non-EU players And we are allowed to add only one each year but if one of the previous ones leaves we are allowed to replace him and sign an extra one. So we got rid of Gamarra and signed Cesar. Maybe some other players have come and gone(i was away for days and lost contact :depress: )
If I'm not mistaken, we still have the possibility to sign a non-EU player

Decent signing. I think he's going to end up being the GK of the future, because although Carini has been tipped to be a talented lad since his early days with Juventus, he has kind of fallen off the map since the World Cup and just doesn't seem all that promising and confident to me.

Julio Cesar, on the other hand, I've seen him work wonders at Flamengo and arguably be the best Brazilian keeper besides Dida over the span of the last two years.

I am happy with this transfer, he has a lot of talent and is obviously a contender for future number 1 in the Inter goal. Hopefully he will get a few chances this season to show what he can do.

I hate to say this, but I had no idea we initially loaned this dude to Chievo :sleepy: it wasn’t until I searched this forum that I found out the embarrassing truth, maybe all you transfer gurus are good for something afterall :nerd:

So what do we know about the guy? Well he has played for Flamengo way back in 2000 (Him and Adriano were teammates then) Flamengo have a reputation for spending rather extravagantly on recruitments (Beloved Corinthians are now the big spenders) and they have built a reputation on spending on goalkeepers only to kick them out next season, it wasn’t until they gave a fair chance to their U-21 goalie, Cesare where he build himself a reputation for being a very solid and consistent keeper. Impressively it was debated wither he should be included in the World Cup squad way back in 2002. :intersca:

Julio Cesar was our idol. The best goalkeeper i´ve ever saw playing for "Mengo".

He is a great guy.

Just curiosity: He is married and have two kids with Ronaldo´s ex women.

Pleeeease, I'm trying to forget. If I remember, it was the season when we had 4 coaches, what a pathetic little skinny carnt....couldn't cross for sh1t. And there was such a big buzz about him, LOL.
