i wont say osvaldo was right to do what he did, because everyone knows how he acts like a total dickhead when he gets upset (dude has fucked up his future starting fights with players at too many clubs to count), but seriously. what the fuck were those crosses from nagatomo.

I remember that second Nagatomo cross in that video. Against Udinese at the Meazza, 1-2 down, Nagatomo has the ball, he has space, he has time, he's even got the ball on his preferred right foot. Instead of crossing it like a functional human, he dribbles forward a bit, lets a defender close him down, and then does that shit. At the time I was happy that Osvaldo told him to get fucked in that instance.

Shame though, he's a gun of a player. He knew how to play football too. His linkup play and ability to bring others into the fold was really good, really natural and fluid. Too bad he suffers from blackouts of rage.

Somebody should still yell and shout at our players. Osvaldo was channeling the rage gathered from fans.

Just found this video with the 3 incidents of him going ape-shit. He surely was skillfull, but what an idiot he is.

I still can't watch that first highlight without cringing.

He honestly was an ideal strike partner for Icardi. Great movement, some creative flair, ability to link with the midfield.

I love his passion to score/win, it's great to see in a player...but you can't sell out your teammates.

Sigh, just a missed opportunity for everyone involved.

I bet Osvaldo's from FIF.

Only FIF complains about Nagatomo's sheer incompetence in his crossing ability.

Dani Osvaldo joins Porto on free transfer following Southampton exit

Former Southampton flop Dani Osvaldo has joined Porto on a free transfer.

The striker was released by the south coast club earlier this summer after a diastrous spell in England which saw him make just 14 Premier League appearances.

Saints paid Roma a club-record fee of £15m in 2013 for the Italy international, but he was loaned to Juventus just six months into his stay after a training ground bust-up with team-mate Jose Fonte.

Osvaldo spent last season on loan at Inter Milan and Boca Juniors before returning to Southampton this summer.

However, at the start of July the club elected to terminate the contract of the 29-year-old, leaving him free to join a new side.

And the Italian has now found his latest club after Porto announced that they had signed him on a free transfer.

Daniel Osvaldo, who returned from a fractured metatarsal last night, is sacked by Boca Juniors for smoking in the changing room post-game.

This guy is a nutcase. Shame too, because he had a great spell with us, even though it was very, very short.

“Osvaldo was a huge disappointment as a person, because as a player he was formidable. He let us down, but he was a prisoner of his own character.” - Walter Sabatini

FootballItalia reports he was close to Chievo on this last day of mercato, but decided to give up on football and follow a career in music.

Has anybody seen these news elsewhere? Also, has anybody listened his songs? Just curious, won't be doing that myself.

I also read that now on Football Italia...
Too bad, would have enjoyed seeing him tear Serie A appart again.

He's a rockstar, no matter what. Being a rockstar is a life choice, not a result of your music/fan's admiration.
