There are new reports suggesting Milan could sell Alexandre Pato to Corinthians in exchange for midfielder Paulinho.

It was already claimed that Vice-President Adriano Galliani is flying out to Brazil to listen to offers for Pato and Robinho.

According to the latest rumours emerging from San Siro, the Rossoneri are hoping to coax Corinthians into releasing Paulinho as part of the €15m Pato deal.

It would be a coup for Milan, as Paulinho has long been a transfer target for rivals Inter.

Fresh from winning the Club World Cup, the 24-year-old is also linked with Chelsea.

We have no use of Alvarez or Coutinho.

The way we are playing, 2 strikers with a AM/CM in Guarin. Neither Coutinho nor Alvarez can play in such role similar to Guarin, it requires a lot of stamina and physicality in chasing down the opposition's midfield.

Getting Paulinho would be fantastic, we would have someone in the CM who can play side by side with Guarin, or as our AM when Guarin needs rest or is injured.

I know it might sound like crap or I'm on crack, but that's the way we are heading.

End of season, total cost will be (16/4)/2 = 2m + 4m (wage) = 6m.
End of season 2013/2014 = 4m + 4m wage + 6m previous year = 14m total outlay

In that time, Sneijder would have cost 18m, ignoring depreciation of ~7-8m (giving us a total of about 25m outlay).

Moving from Sneijder to Paulinho gives us something like an 11m saving
