Sanchez & Dzeko: Access denied.
Dude. The amount of lol. I wish I could thank you 1000 times.Positivity is solely lacking in these forums.
Mum says chocolate isn't good for dogs, but you can have Peter Crouch.
So we think a 36 year old who hasn't played good football in 6 months is going to improve? How do we know he isn't simply finished?Haha that would be a ridiculous overkill.
The fact Moratti was running with similar-ish forward lines, doesn't mean it's normal, "healthy" or anything like that.
Strange how Dzeko being able to play 5mins of actual quality managed to score 17 goals last season. The recency bias of Dezko's horrible latter part of the season is strong.
Own over lease any day, we'll regret missing this guy over Lukaku
While at the same time he was one of primary reasons we were in the Scudetto race in the first place. So we think a 36 year old who hasn't played good football in 6 months is going to improve? How do we know he isn't simply finished?
I don't understand the "recency bias" argument. I'm grading someone on their overall body of work. Dzeko is one of the primary reasons we didn't win the Scudetto.
4 players for 2 positions is what we should have. 5 players are too much especially if this addition will cost 6 M per year with horrible fitness record plus inexorbitant agent fee.For what it's worth, Lukaku/Lautaro/Dybala/Correa/Dzeko should be what's expected for a club like ours, and with the ambitions that we should have.
5 forwards for 2 positions is a healthy bench, not overkill, especially with Dzeko being able to play 5 minutes of actual quality and Correa dying for 75% of the season. Doubly relevant when thinking of the frankly insane schedule we'll have during the winter.
Yep. Its funny that people(especially our coach and managment LOL) think that with Lukaku we solved our problems in attack. They easy forgot that we lost Perisic who can score, assist, create chances. Lukaku is upgrade over Dzeko, but we are not stronger in attack department cause we lost Perisic. We need Dybala from exact reason you wrote in your post,Sanchez and Dzeko are finished and Correa is (so far) just not good enough.Correa is redundant here, he's a poor mix of Sanchez and Dzeko. I mean he can run, dribble and is tall but the end result is pathetic. (both players mentioned prime were beasts, and even wasted and aged can be useful if minutage is dosed properly). With Lula and Dybala out attack would be top in my book.
But that's not gonna happen, only if we offload 2 attackers Dybala will come. Dybala would add class and improve our moment deciding in attack, something we lack for a long time.
To get Dybala we should offload Sanchez and one of Dzeko/Correa. The chances are slim.
And now he wants Dzeko and Correa to stay. Gonna lose friggin Dybala cause that. Idiots. We're currently paying a heavy punishment for listening to Inzaghi and overpay for Correa. Too bad we can't go back in time and undo that costly big mistake.
