Perugia - Inter

I feel sorry for Perugia. Even though I hate their crap team with their big whiners, I feel sorry for them. They lost a game where they were the only team who played football.

Inter played like a Division 4 team in Sweden. It was outrageous to see how completely crap they were. And somehow we end up winning this game.

Credit to Zac. He had practiced throw-ins the entire week and it paid off.

:D

Gamarra has to be critizised for once. Awful performance for him.
It´s also evident that our team don´t train at all playing a four-men defence. They have no idea of how to position themselves.

Well, everything went wrong for us, besides individual brilliance from Adriano.

Our third goal is also controversial, or honestly, not allowed if Adriano touched the ball on the third goal.

adriano seems to be offside though but what the heck the most important thing is we won the match to over take lazio.

also mr helveg is the worst player on the field does absolutely nothing except launch crossess from the left side. Zac should have sub him by 1/2 time but instead took out VDM :yuck:

I watched the game and i saw 2 horrible players in inter shirt on the pitch. VDM and Farinos. They suck. After Emre cames on we played much better. Kara, stanko and emre HAVE to be in the starting 11. That's for sure.

yeah perugia deserves to win more than inter. Looks like the football gods favoured us to win today :p

if u play helveg, then the other CM has to be creative midfielder like emre, if the winger is kily... you can play farinos and christiano together..

no matter what helveg does not start period. He is just a backup player at best. He lacks the penetration to play midfield and does not cross the ball well . THe only postivie about him is that he can play on both flanks, RB and LB. He is getting worst than Gresko :yuck:

Are you sure? I watched that over and over again, but i still can´t say if Adriano touched the ball or not? I guess i have to wait until La Domenica Sportiva starts. They know it for sure.

Anyway, like Jimmy already said, we played horrible match and we were really lucky to get the crucial three points. I almost cryed when there were about 10 minutes to go and we hardly even tryed to score any goals. We were so pathetic. Gladly we have superstar strikers ála Adriano e Martins who gave us those much needed goals. Two great goals from Adriano and great goal from Martins as well, i was so sure that he wont score, but gladly he proved me wrong. Why didn´t he pass the ball to Adriano btw? Maybe he didn´t see him standing there? Who cares! He scored and we WON!

Defence pretty much sucked, at least Gamarra did. Helveg was usual himself once again. Whole midfield was crappy as well. VDM, oh VDM. I guess no one wants to give him more playing time anymore. He was our worst player.

Forza Kärpät!

i'm not sure, the comentator wasn't too sure either, they replayed the goal, and they saw adriano held himself back, and the ball went through... to martins.. without adriano touching it

let's see it, but soccerage and channel4 don't say that it's dubious goal
(compared to penalty given to pirlo in the last match)

VDM was played as a striker, out of his natural position...
i 'm not surprised he sucked, but i did hope he could prove zac was wrong..

too bad, he couldn't

I was so happy when we scored our goals but at the end I felt so bad for Perugia as really we did not deserve the win. Perugia played better than us and were unlucky with a few chances which hit the post. We weren’t even in the game until Adriano did great individual skill to score and put us 1-0 up. Again it was his individual skill which got us back to 2-2.

VDM :cry2: as much as I was wishing for him to get a start never really got in the game, infact at times u forgot he was there - true he was out of position but still :( Then there was one of those new offside but not active moments with Adriano which led to our winning goal for Martins. It was exciting for me as an Inter fan in the last 10 mins, but a bit depressing during the game as we played quite poorly.

Still a win is a win and we r still in the fourth spot hunt, just feel so sorry for Perugia - when things like this happen you know you r going down!

Just when I was about to say that Van der Meyde was played wrong, cool_emre already says the same. :D

I won´t rate him for this game, because he rarely had the ball and was played as a striker. Play him on the flank for freak sake! That´s where he does harm. Not as a striker and an even more offensive striker than Adriano played.

Both Karagounis and Van der Meyde was not playing in the best possible way when it comes to position and tactics.

Not using the players in their positions eads to such a performance...The best thing about this is that we rested(somewhat) our attackers...Inter have to work much better than that if they want to beat Marseille...This will not do it.

I think their second goal is a big mistake from one of our defenders(I think Gammarra) who failed to come up and he made their goal possible in which otherwise if he moved up quickly it would have been offside.

Look at it this way, at least we won it fairly. When Juve or Milan struggle in a game against smaller opponents, they usually get a penalty in the 87th minute or whenever or they get a dubious goal. We struggled but we won the game fairly.

About Oba's goal, from what i saw in the replay it's hard to determine whether Adriano touched the ball or not. There are two issues here: Did he interfere with the ball? and did he touch the ball? It seems that it's a borderline situation and in this case forwards, and rightfull so, should be given the benefit of the doubt.

Their second goal seemed to result from a defensive miscommunication. The whole line wanted to play offside but Gamarra, i think, didn't get the signal and played Hubner onside. I'm noticing many miscommunication at the back as of late.
