PES "Pro Evolution Soccer" 2008

Well, nobody had started this thread so I decided to make it considering the best Football game is just around the corner. Its expected to be released in Europe on the 26th of October while here in Pakistan we would have it by the 27th of Oct, Pirated version for just 60 RS = 1 Dollar, :boogy: :boogy:

I was reading about the game on wikipedia, and found out that a new Diving and Shirt pulling feature has also been inserted into the game while there are only four officially liscenced leagues which doesn't include EPL .

And Fenermerda is in this game, I can't wait to kick their ass in fantasy lol

Good work Ali...Another PES lover i presume...I think we can all agree that although PES doesn't have rights it is better than FIFA...I can't wait until it comes out for PSP. I can't imagine the graphics for some players(England team) after the graphics last year were soooooo good for some players(mostly the England team)!!!

i downloaded the demo and i was hugely surprised how good is julio cesar in this game, he was average GK in last edition but here he is like casillas, cech, and that kinda goalkeepers, he has 90 defense, 95 response and 95 goalkeeper skills

Just went to Konami's official website and saw PES pictures, tbh they have done little improvement from last year. It looks like the same game to me :stuckup: :stuckup:

The damn store didn't bring many games on the first release so only reservations were sold on Friday. So I have to wait till the next shift, which is Wednesday, but the catch is that stores close early on Wednesday here in Cyprus and I have to rush from school in order to go there I hope I won't crash or get caught by the police, coz i won;t have much time

Btw, FIFA on PC is not very good...

This game....didn't really meet my expectation, probably the utmost minimal improvement Konami made. But again, there aren't any better football games in the market, so PES wins again.

The feature of importing your own photo is by far the best in this game IMHO. It's also good to see Maicon, J.Cesar, Maxwell getting the stats they actually deserved.

Will get mine next week. For some reasons the pc and xbox 360 version got delayed due to shipping problems so only ps 2 and ps 3 are in the shops here.

What about Matrix upgrade?

No Matrix upgrade, unforunately .

Although they nerfed Adriano, but Adriano's shot power is still way too good. Funny enough, is that they only nerfed Adriano's acceleration and speed, but because he has such great body balance, there's not much difference to the reduction in stats. Still, Adriano is such a goal machine in the game.

yea, ps2 version has almost no changes since last version, ps3, pc and x360 are really new games but the one on ps2 lacks graphics, alot of moves and even physics
