Stats are silly to mention out of context and Keita has good stats in similar situations with both Lazio and Monaco.

Scoring ability is something that you made up, because there's nothing to suggest you're correct when it comes to comparing these three.

Form is the only given and that's because Keita cannot get himself in a position to start for us over Perisic. What makes tou think that these 2 similar and probably slightly better players can have more of an effect?

Well, that's what wera is doing it. Overrating them.

I've been dealing with PL fanboys for around 2 decades now. I've seen the full loop of their arguments as to why it's the best league or why their players are the best. In the same loop, their arguments as to X or Y is worse than the PL becomes an argument for PL's greatness in the next cycle. It's quite funny.

I'd rather want Kroos, Casemiro, Raketic, Coutinho, Suarez even fucking Bale infront of those. How many of those name mentioned have won a CL title?

Kroos and Rakitić are not better than Brozović, at least not anymore. Suarez is having a good season, but he is very streaky (ask any Barca fan) and Bale is great, but injured all the time. Coutinho and Casemiro would make us instantly better.

Getting a big name because it's a big name is what made Inter lose money the stupid way. I'm not into getting out of prime players, except if they are bench options like Valero is right now. Imagine getting Modrić and have him playing most games next season....love Modrić, but that would be too unbalanced, and we already have a midfield crisis that should be adressed next summer.

Either one of the younger players (25ish) - somebody who would be Brozos partner in our midfield for the next x years, or put faith in Gags/Joao Mario and gets us a real creative player instead of playing Nainggolan there.

Here is an example - Eriksen. Pay the top dollars for him.

Kante, Herrera, David Silva, Firmino, Mane... not worth the trouble. They'll never perform up to their price tag's standards. Martial, not worth the wages he'll demand.

There are some great players that are stuck in the EPL due to their initial greed for money over a decent football career path, but sorry, Inter cannot come to their rescue by breaking 15 banks. That would include Eriksen, Hazard, de Bruyne, Sane and Bernardo Silva.

You are misunderstanding me. Instead of buying a big name player who is out of his prime (Modrić, Kroos, Rakitić), I would rather spend the same amount on a Bernardo Silva or Thorgan. And even more, I would gladly sell Perišić and buy Eriksen for big money.

It's okay that we disagree, I think we all agree that we had a lot of bad transfers and that one of our biggest mistakes was not getting Hazard waaaay back to revamp our old treble squad. Bringing Forlan, Vidić and similar washed up players was a big problem too.

Now we are having a chance to buy quality, and you would rather spend 40 on Modrić inatead of getting a really good winger? To each it's own.

No, I don't think its a good idea to buy Modric for 40m euro but I think he is alot better than the names you mentioned but Rakitic I would take on a heartbeat.

None of these are actual left wingers though.
Draxler can play there as well of course but not as effectively as he can on the right. Chiesa would be awkward on the left given how he's usually slotted on the right but I think he has the ability to pull it off. Bailey can also play on both sides, plays more on the left these days, but is much better on the right imo.

There's no player who can be guaranteed to start over Perisic if we sign him now unless we go for Neymar or Hazard.

If we want to go for potential who can get lots of playing time and is versatile enough to coexist, we have to look no further than Julian Brandt. If I hear we're going to spend 40m on him I wouldn't be pissed. If I hear that we're going to spend 40m on Thorgan Hazard or Draxler I will be
