I don't get the aging squad arguement.

Does 1 year difference make the team suddenly go from treble winners into a team that competes for CL spot?

Well, you can always swap managers with Liverpool ... LFC fans would be happy to see Rafa back, and Hodgson is not exactly a stranger to Inter ...

You might have a point there some Inter fans dont want a high defence line and possession football and Liverpool fans dont want to sit back and counter.

Winning the treble means that your players have played an awful lot of games last season in 3 competitions ... A good part of them (at least the best ones) were at the World Cup and had no real rest ... Combine that with no reinforcements to the squad (in fact, your squad was reduced), and it is a disaster waiting to happen ... Do you think that Sneijder's anemia is a coincidence ?

look at Sneijder, how many games did he played this year? to the WC final and almost all this season, all this year to be honest

financially speaking you absolutely need the CL and Morrati knows that so if priorities start to come into it he'll think CL.
The League may be bread and butter but the CL is caviar ( another interest payment is how G&H looked at it ).
Funnily enough if we'd of finished 4th last season or had a extended CL run we would still be getting shafted for 40mill per year."

nope i aint going to argue about this as i think at this time we need to stand united as a group. even though im not a fan of rafa, saking him now would be suicide. what we have to do is concentrate on mercato and try to fix our team with a few players.
