Meanwhile, reports emanating from Italy claim Roberto Baggio could be set for a return to Inter.

The former Juventus and Internazionale star is thought to be considering an offer to join Inter's management team.

Baggio, who retired from football two seasons ago, could join Inter as their general director or technical manager.

This is good news!

this is very bad news ... a typical Moratti move. Getting Roby to do a job, he wont have any clue of ... typical Moratti-like move.

One thing i wud like him to do ... do some scouting of quality Italians for 1 or 2 years down the line. People who r good, and wud be cheap to sign

Anyone has an interview about Roberto Baggio? i would like to know more about him, i also grow up watching him.... he was one of the first idols cause i start watching football in 1994 when i was 10 years old. I have always respected him even with that move from Viola to JuBe.

I believe Kova is right. Baggio is not an Inter legend.

Enough is enough. There shouldn't be a discussion for every player on which thread they belong to. There was this issue some time ago when there was just one thread for former players & coaches and if this issue is up again, we'll just merge both forums because this is getting ridiculous that every players thread place is contested.

Handoyo I don't think thats the answer. What you guys need to do is set clear criteria that a player needs to meet to get into the La Grande Inter section. Currently its too subjective.

Stefan, it is hard to set a clear criteria to this. For example, C.Zanetti was here for 5 seasons while Martins was only here for 4 seasons. Should we ever have a category of "at least 3 seasons" or something, this would mean that they are both legends, even though C.Zanetti clearly isn't but Oba is.

Or how about the criteria of "scored at least 100 goals for the club." Well, some still think that Vieri is not a legend. And now, what if Adriano leaves and we don't put his thread in the La Grande Inter. I am convinced that there will be chaos if we do that. How bout players like Zamorano as well, who never got to score 100 goals but is still loved by all Interisti for his dedication and passion. It is impossible to set a clear criteria.

A lot of this things depends on the feelings that the members have on the players too. I solely base my judgment on which player gets the most support. I don't judge them myself. If it were up to me, Emre is a legend too. But look which forum his thread is located.

Stefan, do you really think we should have a poll on every players thread who leave us?

Yes. Of course it's a dictatorship. The numerous polls in this forum clearly reflects that.
