he actually have a good passing. It's his overthinking which always leads to bad decision making that makes him look an inferior player. I always said that if he just learns playing a simple football sticking to his main functions he will be a regular starter. It's a shame cause he has a great physique unlike Sensi yet manages warming the bench.

He's not a player you can count on if you want to win things. It's not about whether he's a top player or not.

Someone like D'Ambrosio for example for all his limitations could play a part of a winning squad because he plays with his heart out. Some player like Gary Neville who's not even good as DDA was captain of the most formidable squad in English football. You don't have to be a great player, you just need to be dependable.

Gagliardini is not. He's good enough for squads (not starting 11s) that just want to compete for a Top 4 spot though.

Played as a starter today, and was Gags. Did better in the late 1st half and into 2nd with his defense at least. His offensive input was lacking, Conte knew that now so should Inzaghi.
