Well I love Conte's 3-5-2 but abhor Mazzarri's 3-5-2

It has nothing to do with the formation

You love Conte's 352? The narrow, slow, formation that is meant to beat bottom table Italian teams 1-0 with ref help, and flops in Europe even against minnows? Juventus won Serie A because of individual quality, it had nothing to do with formation.

The only way to pull off that formation at the highest level is if you have Robben on your team.

So the reason why Mazzarri isn't winning tripletes yet is because we haven't managed to get Robben.

Well, here's a mission for Ausilio.

I never imagined the day that I would wish Mancini back to Inter.

For some reason Pelligrini is getting away with lot compared to Mancini.

Mancini is not as good as some people rate here but he was very good manager. Shame for him that he wasted more than half of his time sorting out Balotelli, shouldn't have signed him.

On the other hand despite spending around 300 Million on top of whatever Mark Hughes spent, he always complained about signings and in his last season he always complained about ManUtd signing RVP even when he had players like Tevez, Aguero, Dzeko.

The 3-5-2 that went unbeated for a season, and broke our point record, yes. I know that referee's help play a big factor in those, but there is no denying of Juve's quality in Serie A.

With regards to their flop in Europe, even the Juve of the Del Piero and Zidane and Nedved failed to do jackshit in Europe. It's more in their DNA tbh, as cheesy as this sounds.

Again, personally I think Juventus would have won have with any formation that had a 3 man central midfield. Their individuality quality is going to shine through regardless of the formation.

If anything I think its holding them back,

To be fair, they reached the finals twice with those players.

I wouldn't want him back here.
Let's try to build this year with Mazzari, then if that doesn't work, bring in a more capable coach, but not Mancini.

+1. I would rather see Mazzarri's contract out in 2016 than pay for Mancini again! Just look at how he paints his hair, it's fuckin` ridiculous.

On a more serious note, I would rather keep the memory of Mancini winning the league WHEN HE HAD THE BEST SQUAD in the league at his disposal. Clearly, it's not the same any more and we can't afford to spend like mad for this. It's not that I hate him or anything, I just don't believe he is the man we need.

Bielsa for instance, would be fun :D

Then who is? We aren't hiring Spalletti so the only other option is Mancio.

My opinion is to just get a caretaker manager till the end of the season then do whatever it takes to hire Capello/Dr Boer/Simeone.

Why is everyone here for De Boer?
He doesn't want to go to Italy and we have no winger, so we can't play a 4-3-3 or whatever.

De Boer won't survive in Italy, so please don't mention his name everytime we speak about new coach.

Wow the survival chances in Italy are harsh :eek:blivious:

Rather give De Boer a chance than Mancio, Mazzarri and Prandelli.

At least he'd bring a fresh wind through the management.

No way Capello leaves the Russia NT job ahead of the next WC being hosted by them

Capello will never coach us. He's also like 70 years old.

So this is the new managers rumours thread :eek:blivious:

One thing for sure, Mazzarri wont stay here till the end of the season. I would like the mods to make a poll, regarding who will replace Mazzarri:

-Spaletti
-Mancini
-Zenga
-Moyes
-Vechi
-others

Just curious to see the members' votes, because I myself am undecided about this.

Vecchi would probably end up as Strama version 2. It'd be far better off to leave him to develop uninterrupted while he's doing good work at youth level. Moyes can fuck off. Zenga, despite being a legendary player for us, has had an extremely unimpressive managerial career. Spalletti would be good, and he's available. Any sensible person would take the opportunity. Mancini is my second choice. He's more than capable of at the very least, stabling the ship and getting us to regular CL qualification.

I keep hearing that Spalletti and Mancini are to expensive for us...salary wise and transfer requests wise...we have no money to fire WM ffs.
We're in a fu up situation.
