The fact Vidal, Pogba, Pirlo, and Evra were cheap isn't why they were good deals. Those were actually good players and the price only made it better.

Lavezzi is past it and expensive. We don't need another forward. Banega is an expensive stopgap and has been inconsistent for most of his career. Neither will be enough to push us into the top 3 unless Mancini changes his approach, and in any case we'll be stuck with heavy, useless salaries.

Shitty, expensive free transfers also got Milan into a world of shit. These deals don't help us that uch right now and they hurt us long term.

Evra and Pirlo were done players, finished. Nothing higher from Lavezzi at the moment. They gave Juve a lot. Now, knowing us Lavezzi will finish his career for two years while we will finish paying him for nothing.

And Banega could become another Cambiasso. Free, hard working and smart ...

You're right about Milan, we shouldn't bring too much players on free transfer, especially over 32. They are pretty much done. Pirlo and Evra were rare exceptions. Or Figo long time ago for us.

CdS who reports that after the Roma-Samp game Ausilio ,who was in the stands, negotiated for Soriano with the Samp mgmt. His price is 15mil but we could include Dodo and primavera GK Radu.

I hope so the dude has some serious game and vision, his threw passes in the final third can be orgasmic(no one at Inter can produce smth similar,no one,maybe Perisic), we should have bought him in stead of Eder now tbh.

Inter ‘book’ Soriano?

Inter director Piero Ausilio reportedly told Sampdoria President Massimo Ferrero that Roberto Soriano has been ‘booked’ for the summer.
The Italy international has been heavily linked with a move to the Nerazzurri and reports today suggest that a deal is likely.
Corriere dello Sport writes that Ausilio joked to Ferrero yesterday: “Don’t forget, he’s booked.”
The news comes after the Inter director attended Sampdoria’s away defeat to Roma on the weekend, where he confirmed the San Siro club’s desire to sign Soriano.
The newspaper writes that the Nerazzurri had blocked the midfielder’s arrival until the summer as they are planning a midfield facelift then, which began with the January sale of Fredy Guarin.
Inter are believed to be attempting to sign Sevilla’s Ever Banega on a free transfer and reportedly already have an agreement with Soriano, which was put forward during talks for the January signing of Eder.
The Italy international has a release clause of €15m, but Corriere believes Inter will bring this down by offering players, possibly on-loan Dodo and Primavera goalkeeper Ionut Radu, in exchange.
The outlet also believes they will defer the payment for the Samp man in a similar way to Eder’s deal.
