I just see him as an good option if we dont get that spot for CL...if we get that spot we must focus on better players because we will just end up with roster like we had last couple of years, players that nobody wants, cost us money...just like this shit with our fullbacks, its better to have two good than 4-5 average...

I really dont think we re getting him as a starter. I think we got banega for that, also we re probably at least playing euro league bext season so a deeper squad wont hurt. Also counting soriano and banega we would have 7 midfielders which hardly is a overkill. Especially since that still counts ljajic and melo who are likely to leave. The only problem is imho that its not properly balanced if melo leaves id rather spend the money on a DM than on soriano!

Anyways imho the qulity/price ratio we d get for soriano would be good only problem is that we need a player of his quality in other departments more than in that CM/Am spot.

Inter scout Soriano, Widmer

Inter’s chief scout was at the Marassi to watch Sampdoria’s Roberto Soriano and Udinese’s Silvan Widmer on Sunday, say reports.

The Blucerchiati ran out 2-0 winners to leapfrog the Zebrette and move closer to Serie A safety.

Corriere dello Sport has reported today that Inter’s chief scout Massimiliano Mirabelli was in the stands for the match.

He was reportedly there to watch two players, Samp midfielder Soriano and Bianconeri wide man Widmer.

Italy international Soriano has been continuously linked with the Beneamata this season, while Switzerland starlet Widmer is believed to be on the radar of a host of clubs.

The latter was already considered by the Nerazzurri as a target during the January transfer window according to the outlet, and they could return this summer.

Interviewed by the La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roberto Soriano spoke of his personal goals and makes an indirect hint at Inter: “I aim for a spot on the Italian team in the Euros. Thinking about the future, in which many see you leaving with Inter as favorites, do you look at Eder’s downward form curve: King in Genoa, reserve in Milan?
“Honestly, I never thought about it but I think it’s normal that in a great team there is more competition. Eder must get going with a goal and that will just be the beginning.”

Talking about the bench: in Florence you were often sitting on it. How did you take it?
“Well. Montella had already told me that he had doubts: when I realized that Nenad (Krsticic, ed.) would play I was happy. He deserved it and I cheered happily for him.”

We shouldn't sell Icardi, Bro or Murillo. All under 25. All are starters and can continue to start for us 5+ years. Any transfer that get rid of them are awful. Also bigila is great but he is no Modric. People super over rating that guy.

We have a solid foundation if we build a team around those 3 guys. Maybe even Kondo but he really hasn't done enough to warrant his price tag or a starting spot.

I like Persic and turned out a great buy even tho we could have gotten Cuadrado who is better and was cheaper option. If a team gives us money we should look to sell our older players. I'd accept offers for our older star players instead of our guys still developing. Bro can only leave if we get an idiotic offer like Real gave us for Kovaic.

id rather give the el minutes to a guy like gnokouri to be honest. thats how you develop players. we cannot expect ourselves to develop young players if we want every position to be filled with two players.
in my books a midfield of medel, kondogbia, brozovic, banega, gnokouri and an other low budget player (motta like maybe) would be totally enough. save the money on soriano and get a proper right winger or a proper deep lying playmaker instead of playing medel in the middle of the park.
