Honestly don't believe it will happen, but I'd take it. They both work hard, but Tevez can be more decisive, and probably could fight for a starting spot, unlike Palacio, who's just bench material at this moment.

Problem is Tevez has a crap attitude, though that's okay because I assume he'd be here just for a short time. But, like I said, I don't see him coming.

I`ve opened up the Tevez thread in the rumours section [I think it's my only thread here on FIF], so I really wanted that guy here. I even explained back then that it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for us to take him from City [we should all thank Mancini for juBe signing him] for discount price!
Hell, I would still take him NOW, knowing how professional he can be if his mind is right.

Problem with Tevez is, he recently stated that he does NOT want to leave Boca. He was very very sad after losing in Argentina [some big trophy, perhaps Libertadores?] and wanted to quit football [again]. But he came back stronger and is determined to help his club, just like Milito did.

If Kia could convince him, I would take him any day. But IMO this is just bullshit, Tevez has no intention of leaving Argentina. The only possibility of him leaving would probably be Boca`s failure to keep his paycheck up to date. I doubt they are that stupid.

Yeah, I really doubt it would be wise to convince Tevez to come back to Europe. He likes it in Argentina, he has made shit loads of money here already. I don't think he has reasons to come back. Only reason is if Boca fucks it up with him.

If anything, he showed himself to be a better 75th min sub than Eder and Jovetic. Presses like a madman and can find space for himself in dangerous situations. The prospect of him starting doesn't excite me in the least though.

That's true. His movement is world class, too bad he's a striker but can't score anymore.

Eder and Jovetic were useless.

I wouldn't be too hard on Palacio. He is doing his job as a sub and today he was a little rusty. Happens to the best of them. But his movement and energy is exactly what you need from a sub.

Sometimes energy isnt enough. His movement is good, but dude will still struggle to put in a pass or finish an easy chance even when he is fit. Just when I think he'll fuckin finally score, he misses yet again, again and again. Its frustrating especially when we are in dire need of a goal.

Great runs, just poor finishing.

He did what he was meant to do.

We need Eder to be coming in and getting into the type of situations Palacio got himself into today. Too bad I don't think he has the intelligence that makes Palacio wreak so much havoc.

This guy is funny man. Understands the game so well and knows what to do in every situation but his body just won't do what the brain tells it anymore.

I was watching the game with a friend and this was exactly what I told him about Palacio because he asked why Palacio didn't was in starting eleven LOL. To shortening the sentence, HE IS FUCKING OLD.

To be fair to Eder, he did create that nice chance for Palacio that he missed in the 90th minute. But yes, other than that, he didn't do much.

Palacio earns 2.4 mill, Rano 2.4 mill, Melo 2.5 mill after taxes... we're getting absolute mediocrity for 15-20 mill per year. It's shocking really.

"Mediocrity" felt insulted.

We'd better give that money to charity. Atleast it would serve a purpose.
