I don't care about which of Lautaro or Lukaku start, but we need Sanchez to start this one. He is a class apart from the rest.

I have seen Javier Zanetti only struggle in games against 2 players: Thierry Henry and Alexis Sanchez (when he played for Udine)

I don’t know if any of you feel the same way, but, In last 10 yrs or so, I’ve developed a strange strong hate for Roma. They are very close to the hate I have for juve. Whiny little bitch club all around.
Cant explain it.

Same, in my hate list they are 2nd, right after rubentus. In russian speaking internet both clubs' fans have good relationships, they support each other against Inter

Personally I never hated Roma. I even liked them a bit in 2000s. But I have a strong dislike for their fans. They're unbearable. Apart from Juventus and Milan, I don't really hate another Italian team. Perhaps Udinese.

Why do people hate Udinese? They gave us Handanovic.

Indifferent towards Roma now. Never really hated them. Used to see them as rivals when only us and them fought for the title. We always won Serie A so probably they are the ones hating on us more

All they won were a few Coppas while we were winning the Scudetto. If you remember well they finished close second in Serie A and we beat them in the Coppa final when we won the treble. I think they are still salty because of that.

Bale tore us a new asshole in 2011. Even Zanetti was no exception on that fucking day.

Corriere predicts Lukaku Lautaro and Valero. :troll:

I completely understand the reasoning to play Valero and I concede it's not unjustified. But goddamn if it isn't frustrating. Obviously I'm taking away some context but just imagine deliberately selecting Borja Valero ahead of Christian Eriksen. Imagine a year ago someone told you that in a year's time, we'll have Christian fucking Eriksen, but we'll play Valero instead of him

It's a reality most of us already have accepted. If Papa Valero can bench Eriksen, Candreva certainly will bench Hakimi.

You talking about the game in 2010 at White Hart lane? I was in the stadium. It was Maicon who got ripped apart by Bale.

My lingering memory of that game was the sun reflecting from the bald head of a fat Spanish waiter sitting on a bench not too far ahead of me, head down staring at his notebook instead of the game, while the crowd sang "taxi for Maicon". I hated that guy.

Dude, rafa is great manager.
If only we had listened to him, and rebuild faster, we wouldnt be in such a dire state for a decade
instead we hanged on this treble heroes, whom couldnt move on from mou and apparently butthurt because their new boss took down the ex photo

Yeah I know but that wasn't the subject. My point was, they won't drop any points against Lazio only to fuck us over, like Ethor suggested they would.

You realize, of course, that the conspiracy theory was with tongue in cheek right?

Someone needs to step into that dressing room and tell these fuckheads that if they put in for the next few games they could do the impossible. Instill some hope in the flogs.

It’s a bit strange that if we take maximum points, we’d be inexplicably only 3 points behind Juve. Despite all the 2nd half meltdowns and just general shit football that made me want to run into a wall at full force at times. Granted we do have to beat Roma in the first place which is no easy feat. I’m sure Rubentus will crush the rest of their opponents now that we’re kinda close but it’d be nice to make it more interesting to end this very bizarre season.

Just imagine we didn't drop those 8 - 9 points to the immoveable powerhouses in Lecce, Cagliari, BOLOGNA & Parma Calcio 1913 ?!

We'd be saying shit like "we're leading Serie A with some half assed squad playing half assed football... Imagine how great we'll be when Conte strengthens the squad next transfer window ?! Grande Conte !"

Benitez is/was amazing at getting good players and building a great team on paper. The napoli side he created was the core that Sarri perfected.

He’s not a good manager of the players at all tho.
Who knows what would have happened if we have given him what he wanted.

Dirk Kuyt playing with us till his retirement cause face it - every single coach after Benitez would love the guy’s work rate and put him into the starting 11 ahead of any promising youngster, following the best of our pazza Inter’s traditions.

Indeed. We could have saved those points. We still have Napoli and Atalanta after Roma.

We played some amazing possession football under him,
but the player just gave up (player didnt like him, he took down mou photo etc)

we were on mission that year, after winning it all,and there's World Cup , our player burnt out (most of treble heroes were 30+),
no way we could continue our form , mou jumped off the sunken ship at the right moment

and also: we changed from a defensive coach to offensive coach, it wont be easy without massive overhaul

i remember sneijer wanted by MU, and maicon by madrid etc, but we gave them raise instead, and their form dropped significantly after

Moratti promise him mascherano, and sanchez, and didnt deliver.
