I think Ibrahimovic will have a great day.
Crespo will score (If he played from start).
Adriano will suck as usual.

It mostly depends on our defenders. Let's how they will stop Roma, and cover J.Cesar's mistakes.

We will win if Roma didn't score, or let's just say, if the defenders won't blow our hopes.

You guys are so negative it's like reading a Milan forum...

I just hope Mancini doesn't want to even the game by giving the Roma a 3 goal and 45min advantage this time ;)

It's not about being negative. It's about the signs you see when your team play.

I've watched out title contenders (Milan and Roma) and both were convincing unlike us.

yeah i REALLY dont like the chances for you guys against roma. Roma have been on fire recently....totti, taddei and mancini are playing really well.
If inter gets the early goal, you may have a chance....but if roma score first...i cant see inter getting back into the game.
being a milan fan, my best option would be a draw, but i just cant see it happen this game...

My formation for the game:

---------------JC------------------
JZ--Samuel-------Cordoba---Grosso
Figo-----Vieira------Deki------Solari
----------Adri-------Ibra----------

I think that we don't need Matrix in this game, since there aren't tall and strong players and Roma, we need fast defenders. I would even play Burdisso infron of Samuel if he was fit.

Also, Adri needs one game as starter, two games he was sub, and we didn't play well in both. For gods sake, Crespo was brought as sub, let him stay sub. If needed, he can get in.

One more think, I think we should play Solari left and Deki as CM. Dacourt isn't needed here. And Solari needs chance to play in the first 11.

I don't expect big game from us, we will probablly lose in Rome, but even if we won I want Mancio out and Hector back.

I have a good feeling about this :)...

---Adriano---Crespo---
---------Figo---------
Deki-Viera-Dacourt-Mariano
Grosso-MM23-Samuel-Capitano
----------Toldo--------------

I'm prefering Maxwell left on the midfield, where the hell is he?
His recovering should be over by now...

creativity vs destruction...
man, i never like viera..he sux a lot with us..

One thing I don't like about Viera is that he plays long balls wich don't arrive all the time....

Roma's form is better than ours
We need to play like this:

----------------Toldo---------------
Zanetti---Cordoba---Matrix----Grosso
----------------Dacourt-------------
Figo----------Vieira-------------Deki
----------Ibra----------Crespo------

Simple, right, Adri will be needed in the 70th minutes or so if we are losing or drawed, not when there is only 12 minutes to play

Simple enough, yes, and please stick with a formation please shithead Mancio

On this high level you can't play same formation whole season, you've to got a few alternatives wich you can play very good to...

Fixed ur forward line Exe, that is a more plausible way to attack but against Roma that would be fucking suicide

We were at home Mikey and those two goals Adri scored didnt make any difference as we still ended up losing.

I dont know what some of you are thinking, if for any game Mancini is going to play two DMs it would be this game. Dacourt has been in pretty good form and I would not mind one bit to see him partner Viera in the middle. Patty is going to have to put in another massive performance in this one, he is going to have to know when and where to be physical otherwise we are going to get owned.

Of all the teams we could have faced Roma is the worst one right now and I have a very bad feeling we are going to flop on this occasion, yet again. Just the way Roma line up inspires fear in me, they have no traditional CF and as such provide little to no reference points for defenders. You will see one of them coming at you then 4 more will swarm in to overwhelm you. They know how to attack from deep but they can also press you back into your own box and their counterattacks are fearsome.

Even though Materazzi has surprisingly been really good lately he needs to be dropped for this game, Roma's quicksilver players will chew him up and spit his mangled carcass back out for the Olimpico faithful to have their way with him. Samuel needs to partner Cordoba for this one and although Maicon did quite well with Mancini in the Supercup game hoping for lightening to strike twice will be too much to ask. JZ is going to have his hands full but with dedicated midfield support he should be able to deal with Mancini. Grosso should get the start on the left but I dont think he is going to accomplish much out there on Wednesday night.

Up front of course the quickly growing Ibra should be able to handle things up front but he is going to need a fully fit Figo and a Crespo that has his head on straight if we are going to have any hope of unlocking Roma's backline. Mancini should be asking the boys to be working on their long range shooting in the next few days. Doni is hardly a keeper to be feared and he is known to give up frequent rebounds that Crespo can be there to tap in. Figo, Stan, and Ibra need to focus on forcing him to move about and get him rattled with a few powerful efforts on net.

Sadly folks I really dont expect us to come out of this one with very much to show for our efforts a draw would be more acceptable we are going to have to look to recoup our lost points elsewhere.
Dear Waleed:
Well Done man. I completly agree with you.
Lat season we were 3 points behind Juve when we made the trip for the first derby of Italia. Every fans were thinking and aiming for the 3 points. We were -3 before the match and we came back home while we were -6! If we had taken a draw then it was -3. Three points diffrence and It's like that we had gotten 3 points against another side. That why I think that we should go for a draw and if we could then heat them at some stages of the matches, considering ours and Roma's current form. We are -2 behind them, if we loose then it'll be -5 and if we drew it'll be only -2 and it's soooo acceptable as we had played our toughest away matches (Derby?) of the season by then.
Please keep your feet on the ground. We're not still in a good form and we have changed a lot according to last year while Roma is to some extent the same as last year. Don't mention the Supercoppa as it was in Meazza and also miracle doesn't happen everyday.

Cesar (Mancio won't change his mind)
Zanetti-Cordoba-Samuel-Grosso
-Viera--Dacourt--Stankovic
---------Figo
----Crespo-----Zlatan
Adriano should come in the 2nd half.
OHHHHHHH, SOLARI SOLARI SOLARI SOLARI SOLARI

After all I predict a draw. Something like 1-1 or 2-2.
If we want to win the key will be to score the first gola (as always?)

Of all line-ups, I definitely agree on this 12-man formation! :D

Seriously. We're losing this one.

Cesar (unfortunately); Javier, Cordoba, Materazzi, Grosso; Stankovic, Vieira, Dacourt; Figo; Ibra, Adri will probably be the line-up.

Samuel should play instead of Matrix and I don't trust Grosso just yet. Toldo's a better GK than JC.

Oh I can't deci
I hate that Inter always puts themselves into these high pressure situations. This match should not have been a must-win as it is now. This is a 6 point match now, hope the players are up to the pressure so early on.

1 thing though, if we go down by 2 goals or more we are not clawing our ways back this time. Not in Roma's house.

Lol man there are 12 players in this formation... It would be nice if we can sneak on ein the field, without the ref noticing it... :D

Anyway, once I did the same mistake, I put 12 players in one formation.

But I get what formation you want to play, and maybe Mancini will play it, because Figo is back, and he will play behinf the dtrikers... We'll see...

Hi guys, well we seem to meet often nowadays. Meeting so soon after our last meeting.

Roma have improved since we last played you in the SuperCup, we are playing some good football and the team is really united. But as always im weary about playing Inter. You have beaten us in the damn Coppa Italian so many times, and we lost against Inter in August. However we have done quite well against you in recent years in the league i hope it continues. But to say Inter is in a crisis, I doubt it. Its not far into the season, whoeve wins the game, its certainly not a title decider.

I hope we continue our good form and Inter to carry on its pretty poor form. Anyways whatever the result, there is still a long way to go. Whatever happens, aslong as Milan don't win the league !!!

Best of luck after Wednesday :howler:

Yes as you said we aren't in any crisis. If we had won in Lisbon then this draw against Samdoria wasn't that horrible as now. The thing that the fans are worried about is that to see this form continue week after week. And Roma has had a good seaon up to now and ofcourse they haven't met a great side yet, consider it too and we had somehow two tough away matches and playing Doria isn't that easy either, considering their motivation that they have against us always. Your weakest point is that you haven't ENOUGH proper backups and that's why you'll face some problems as the season continues. The only thing that we want is to win in Roma then everything will be solved day by day. Of course I wouldn't be disappointed to get a draw in Roma's Olympic Stadium.
So as you said buddy FORZA INTER FOREVER
