Let's be honest. Roma has a better starting XI than us and a much better coach... BUT... they don't have very much depth and as far as I've noticed haven't used too many different players to start the season. They we're good against little Siena, but they did look a bit flat (possibly tired?) at times.

If they come out flat on Wednesday, we can jump all over them, but Mancini has to stop shitting out dumb formations. Dacourt has played well but alongside Vieira, our central midfield lacks any creativity. And for God sakes, no more Maicon over Il Capitano at RB. :frustrat:

Toldo
JZ Cordoba Samuel Grosso
Maicon/Mariano Vieira Deki Solari
Ibra-Adri

FYI to all Canucks - This game will be televised on TLN on tape delay at 8:00 Pm eastern.... 5:00 for moi. :p

What are you smoking Brad. Roma has a better starting 11 than us?? More creative yes but better no way.

No funny stuff;

----------Zlatan--Adriano---------
---------------Figo---------------
-------Deki--Dacourt--Vieira-------
Grosso---------------------Zanetti
--------Samuel--Cordoba---------
--------------Toldo---------------

Against Roma, Cordoba should play alongside Samuel. I do like Matrix, but the way Roma build their offensive game is nightmare for him. Another questionmark is should we go with Crespo or Adriano. It's close, but I opted for Adriano. He has huge motivation to show, and he even looked quite sharp on Tuesday. Midfield should be a no-brainer, as should be the fullbacks. But you never know.

With this squad, I really think Maxwell will play as a sub, the potential is high.
And one thing, why not take Choutos also, as a forth striker, JUST in case

I think the only way we can actually win this is if Adriano has his 'comeback' game. I can't wait for this damn game to be over with, I'm so damn nervous aboit it.

Maicon will be a pain in the ass if he play! He showed that he like most of brazilians is debacle in defence abilities. 90% of the goals that Inter suffered in these last three matches was due to his own faults!

Internazionale
Damn, B-Rad said the truth and some here can't handle it, it seems.

Shall we compare both squads:

Doni vs J Cesar: Tie, both are bad. (both tied)
Panucci vs JZ: JZ. (Inter +1)
Chivu vs Samuel: Chivu. (tied)
Mexes vs Cordoba: Mexes. (Roma +1)
Tonetto vs. Grosso: Tonetto, so far at least. (Roma +2)
De Rossi vs. Dacourt: De Rossi. (Roma +3)
Perotta vs. Vieira: Vieira. (Roma +2)
Mancini vs. Figo: Mancini. (Roma +3)
Pizarro vs. Stan: Pizarro. (Roma +4)
Zlatan vs. Totti: Zlatan. (Roma +3)
Crespo/Adriano vs. Taddei: all equally effective. (Roma +3)

So, Roma is better than by 3 points, so they have the better squad and we should just accept it.

But like B-Rad mentioned, we are better than them in depth, and they did look a bit tired last weekend, specially the CD's.

However, this advantage maybe meaningless seeing as Mancini isn't the sharpest star in the universe when it comes to subbing.

Our defence is fine. We've looked secure over past 2 games. Espescially center. I'm bit more worried about our attack as Roma has the central midfielder all packed up so it may be hard to break it down without Cambiasso. We must use wings I guess and leave Dacourt back for help. For 10th time we must play Solari! Roma's definate weak spots are their wings, we must use that weakness.

Grosso is better than Tonetto and since Totti is playing as their striker he should be compared to adri/crespo. If you do it like that Zlatan toasts taddei. And since dacourt is just a sub we realyl should campare cambi to de rossi than it's a tie.

So it's very close but it I still give Inter a slight edge. But we shall see.

And Hamed they surely can't have the better squad if you say they lack deph maybe ( still don't agree) better starting 11.
