Romelu Lukaku

Are you willing to have Inter spend 65 million (or more) on Lukaku to satisfy Conte?

If the bonus is based on reaching a top 4 spot maybe we'll avoid it.

But stop treating it as a 65m transfer. It's 78+... Closer to 85 than 65.

I want to open his thread in the players and coaches section, no offense but you cunts are jinx most of our players flop or revolt when you open their threads.

65m on five years installment is really good, I'm impressed.

We are still paying Sporting money for the Joao Mario transfer and have instalments to pay in 2020 as well. Stop mentioning this stupid 5 year payment structure. It's the norm.

Stupid media at it to make their media friendly management appear ballsy....

Grande Marotta.

Marotta was schooled by fucking Woodward, because of Conte's insistence on Lukaku.

There is nothing grande about this deal except for the hole it caused in our pockets.

Well, if we're to believe basically all the reports from Italy and England for the past 4 weeks, where it was "either 83mln straight or get lost" then the only one who was schooled here is you with your blind bias.

The price is 65m€ + 10m€ bonuses so it's 75m€. Then 5% resale price, so if we sell him for 100m€, we will give 5m€ to United. A) We hardly sell him B) If we sell him, we won't sell him for 100m€, but much less so we pay United few millions MAX

It's not a catastrophic price by any means, but a bit too much for Lukaku's level IMO. But let's see if he can live up to that price.

There are so many different prices. Di Marzio said 65 million + 13 million, BBC, Telegraph and HLN (very reliable for Belgian players) said deal is worth upto 80 million euros.

The price is 65 + 10, that's Di Marzio's latest. The "up to 80m€" is precisely the same narrative, 75m€ + resale value added to that (interpretation of +5m€ from that).

Reporters want to present it the way it's favourable to their side => English reporters report it with the max number (resale part calculated with 100m€ sale price).

Allthough I'm not really glad with the transfer fee and the player itself. But the management made the choice that Lukaku was the marque signing Conte wanted so I'm like others glad this saga is over and we finally have the striker Conte so desperately wanted. Hopefully we (or the media) won't judge him after 1 or 2 bad gamesor going to constantly compare him with Icardi. Let him show himself the entire season and hopefully he can score at least 20 goals, because that is what we need in this team. The midfielders will not score alot of goals so we are quite dependdent on our strikers.

Doubt anyone will be adding resale value in the deal. It's usual difference in the selling and buying club reports.

Also I remember Di Marzio reporting 78 million euros, which was posted here too.

Man United paid £75m for Romelu Lukaku in 2017 and will pay £5m to Everton now, as he’s been sold before the end of his current contract. Everton got £80m in total for him.

Man United now receive up to £73.7m from Inter.

He is not English reporter, he reports only for Belgium players.
