What a circus, and we have a front row view. Nothing to do but sit back and watch the shitshow. I really hope curva nord will have a nice welcoming for steven once he decides to crawl out of his hole and comes to milan.

Biasin saying we will reinvest 90 out of 130 mil...
Let's see first if we get 130m for Lukaku. No one in England has confirmed that sum. They only claim the offer is going to be improved.

i would really be for locatelli, we would have fucking A+ defense and midfield, we would have lautaro and sanchez for attack + new striker...
maybe we could take jovic or abraham on loan, better wait until winter mercato than do a panick buy now...

I d sell him for 130 millions. Its too much money to say no. And we could improve the squad in several areas with this kind of money.

130M is a lot of money... But we downgraded coach, sold Hakimi, lowered wages... all after winning scudetto. I can see players leaving after seeing we are not competitive at all. We can get screwed really fast.

If we get ultimately screwed, at least do the risky thing and invest in players like Vlahović

And not get Zapata, Pandev and Balotelli

Yes, nothing like giving a blank cheque to a football club to "clean dirty money". It's no less ignorant than claiming when Berlusconi sold Milan, it was to clean his own dirty money - anyone who suggests such a thing is ignorant about the basic facts of how financing works. (You dont clean money by selling your own asset for your own money - there have to be (by law) anti-money-laundering checks, and all you've done is sell a legitimate asset. That's not how you clean money. He could have sold Milan for 500mil to someone else for legitimate money).

My point is a simple fact. Suning have never taken a single dividend out of Inter. Dividends must be legally declared in our financial statements. Never a single PENNY have they taken out of the club.

The return they seek is in selling the club at a higher valuation. Which is fine. Even the Glazers and Kroenke take money out of their club.

Don't fucking accuse me of being a shill, when you don't know jack shit about wht you're talking about.
because...we need money....

we have like 375m debts coming due in Dec 22. If we refinance, it'll undoubtedly be at a bad rate. Our debt will spiral out of control if we arent careful. One expensive player now is better than firesale 5 next summer.

Hakimi doesnt make or break this club.
Check out your post some two months ago. You certainly talk to much and your constant defending of the Zhang family is peculiar. Unless your connected with them in some way.

I’m wondering how long you will be around after The Zhangs sell the club.

Yeah some very interesting posts here, even that snake guy. Genuinely makes you wonder if these are even Inter fans, so much utter nonsense uttered in their posts

You make it sound like that 275mil went into their personal pockets. It went into Inter. The idea of selling inter stuff to pay inter debts that were raised in order to fund Inter in the first place is.. reality.
But why they promised at the beginning that they will only sell one of the stars (and it was Hakimi). And now when the opportunity comes for Lukaku sale they dont intend to use the money to buy a proper replacement?

Between the two of us, you're the one who joined in Suning era. I've been a member on this forum probably longer than you've been supporting this team.

I've also posted in other threads that I do want, and believe its the likely path, that Suning will sell the club. I'm a seasoned veteran of supporting Inter, not a teenager anymore who reacts overly emotionally to things. Inter is bigger than any owner, manager, or player.

So dont fucking dare question my loyalty to Inter, I've sat through more than enough shit, seen people like Ronaldo leave after 2 years of being nursed back to health, Mourinho walk out on this club and not even come back to Italy after winning the treble, and Forlan/Zarate era.

Well, lets wait and see on the money thing. Rumours in Italy span from 40mil to 90mil of that money available for reinvestment. There's a massive media circus right now, we need to give it some time to see what is true.

RE Hakimi - if I had to guess, its because our sales elsewhere didnt proceed how we expected. We were probably expecting 8m for Joao Mario, but didnt receive anything. We probably hoped for at least 5-8 for Nainggolan, but its looking like we will have to pay some of his salary. Dalbert, Lazaro, Vecino, all still here. Brozovic? No offers as far as anyone knows.

Even coming into the window, people did say at 120-130m, it'd be crazy not to take it for Lukaku.

I like that your go-to is Forlan/Zarate, whereas as what's burned into my mind is Rocchi back-heeling it to Jonathan against Roma (great goal tbf).

Guys calm down. Each member simply shares his opinion with the rest of us. You can agree or disagree with him but don't make it personal.

TBH, there's a long list. I'd even forgotten Matias Silvestre played for us, and as much as I tried to remember an actual game he played for us, just drew a complete blank.

I think Forlan/Zarate was a just a real sign of the times too - Forlan was 2011-2012 and really signalled the descent (replacing Eto'o, IIRC). Same with Zarate. It really summed up expectations.

(And, to the point, it was these sorts of poor decisions after 2010 that really caused the issues of the last decade. If we'd taken the plusvalenza on Milito/Maicon/Sneijder, rebuilt with that money with a core of Eto'o, Cambiasso, Samuel, Motta, we might be in a very different place. I'd rather not go through that post 2010 era again where we have to loan or bosman washed up players, or use loan+option + 5 year contracts for 32 year olds to keep costs down. If that means we lose a couple of stars but emerge a better team, then I'm fine with it)

The matches of Silvestre i remember well are the summer qualifying rounds in Europa League. The opponents were crap but even then he had managed to look shit which made me wonder wtf was that guy doing at Inter.

Back on topic, according to GdS, Zhang is taking time to reflect his decision as directors have assured him they can achieve financial target without Lukaku sale and CL qualificiation would be in jeopardy without the Belgian. The pressure from fans and directors is making Zhangs to reconsider their decision. They're still waiting from Chelsea to make an improved offer.

As I posted, I kind of wouldnt be surprised if the issue is because of our inability to offload JM/Nainggolan/etc for the profits. If it is 20mil shortfall, that's roughly a bit above what we might have hoped for from those two guys anyway.

I still would say 130m for Lukaku is a deal we should say yes to - especially if he does now want to go. The key thing (as repeated over and over) is how we invest that money.

Rumours now are that we have put in a bid for Vlahovic today. I'm not passing judgement on non-Inter players, but it seems quite a few people here are excited about him as an option, so I'll take that at face value. With some good signings, we could end up a much improved all-round team. Worse in attack, dont get me wrong, but (hypothetically) if we ended up with like Gosens, someone on RWB, and Vlahovic, that isnt terrible?
