4 games is a solid 6 hours of being trash. 6 freaking hours without even a real attempt at goal. And you know simply blaming his teammates is BS here. Or are we gonna keep getting excuses like too much fat, too much back pains, too much <…>
Monster09 wins, ManUTD wins, we got fucked, scammed and played. Well we didn't, we knew perfectly well what we were getting ourselves into and did it anyway.
And just when you dare to have some faith in this guy he rewards it by showing his utmost uselessness. 4 games or 40 games, it just doesn't matter. He is only going to show us more of what he's shown us now. This will not change. It never did. Or, for a few games at max, as monster said.

In a league as defensive as Serie A, not even the little teams will allow him to score his flat-track bully goals as easily as he's used to. I'd be surprised if his goal count in Serie A reaches the double digits this season. I guess it will depend on how many penalties we get.

Maybe we can ship him off to China or Qatar this Winter, without losing too much money on him. Thanks Cunte!

i do believe lukaku can improve. i mean, he really has to. conte has a huge responsibility now, because if lukaku fails, it's a 65 million euros fail.

from what i can remember, nobody here was in favour of this signing, at least not at that price.

but i want to give conte the benefit of the doubt that he knows what he's doing.

i expect to see significative improvements by february-march, give or take. otherwise, i'll sure get very worried. but not until then.

one other thing: i believe i have already said this, but it's clear to me that lukaku is not a leader. i mean, in terms of personality. i feel that playing with a "leader" next to him or immediately behind him, would also improve his game.

Check the transfer thread of Lukaku for that nobody remark.

Also, it's 80m, no need to sugarcoat it.

Is Lukaku struggling with back pain? Also he will come good, he's scored twice already - be patient. 65m over 5 years is hardly anything to cry about.

24m over 3 years is also peanuts but everyone went bonkers when we signed Vecino for as much... And some are still upset over the valuation.

Lukaku is a 40m striker at best, including his PL premium cost. We've paid twice as much and we are giving him 8.5m a year. I'm expecting 20 hatricks per season for that price. I'd be crucifying Icardi if he earned as much and didn't score 35 a year.

Total Lukaku cost per annum is around 30m. Including transfer fee, salary and taxes.
Tell me what your expectations are for that price regardless of names.

Not really sure why we would sign Lukaku if we planned on crossing this much and lack the midfielders capable of giving him the ball at his feet in goal scoring positions...

Will we be able to sell him this winter? Hope we can because he is going to wreck our season if we let him play each and every game.

Just bench this guy tbh, and start with Lautaro and Sanchez in attack. They looked quite good together. Somehow we had the perfect striker already but we send him out on loan to get lukaku  Not Pazza at all

So why did Man UTD want him? or Conte want him for that matter?

Probably thought big black dude will run through Serie A defenses for fun.

He needs to rediscover his West Brom/Everton form asap.

he looked like Adriano after his drinking issues

Nah Adriano was better, I'd say Peter Crouch will be more useful in this team than Lukaku

Lukaku is just another Emile Heskey. Useless.

So we made a club record striker transfer in the hope that he finds the form he had at a club like Parma and Sassuolo? Sorry man, with that amount of money I expect Lewandowski-at-Bayern output. And I'm going to get Obafemi Martins or Giampaolo Pazzini returns at best.

How dare you to put Oba Oba on the same level as Pazzini?
Infraction worthy stuff right there.

On a side note Lukaku had games like yesterdays even when he was at Everton and Westbrom, it s not like his ball control and positioning was better there then it was at Manu. It just got noticed less and people we re more willing to forgive a 21/23 year old when he makes mistakes then they are now.

A 3rd rate striker would look decent in that Belgium squad.

What a bunch of arrogant, whiny bitches you all have become. WTF is this shit? Seriously - he is in a new league, in a new system, didn't play much all last year and the entire fucking team played poor and already, 4 games into the season, you all overreact like the world is ending.

Keep your 'world is ending' or ' told you' defeatist pontificating in check. He was poor the last game. He was fairly poor in the udinese game. Extrapolating anything more than that is as useless as all this sensationalizing.

We're first the league - calm down ladies.

I was against this signing more than anyone. Fact is we paid money for him that nobody else ever will. We gotta hope he starts banging in goals and looking good again, because at the moment he is shite. Like commentators keep saying, he is reactive rather than being active and actually anticipating play which he and Conte need to sort out. Thankfully Politano is actually decent as a striker so far so he is an option we can and probably will be going to a lot.
