How do you even know he loves the club? Have you forgotten what he said when Chelsea signed him? I think he's just pretend-loving the clubs because of the salaries he recevies. He's just a mercenary at this point and I hope we don't resign him. We need fresh young blood.
He just says what he thinks the people want to hear. Chelsea could loan him to PSG and he would open his mouth about how he was a fan of Pauleta, had all his shirts and used to watch Ligue 1 when he was younger.

He doesn't give a f*ck about Inter and only came back because Serie A is his comfort zone and he didn't want to keep being bullied by PL. The fact that people believe is BS is so baffling to me.
It's actually much worse than I thought

Well, my ratings:
Seria A-6/10
Coppa: 6/10
CL:3/10

Would be worse but he was really good last couple of weeks in the league and Coppa. In CL saved our asses against Porto but this shit in final was too much. Even for his standards.

He is not the solution for the big games. It has proven in the past unfortunately. I'm not comparing him to our very top forwards in history, but Julio Cruz would bury those chances.

We can't blame one guy for the match, we just simply unlucky. Look Rodri goal, that even after bouncing from our block. Lukaku should burry his chance, but our other player should too.

We simply not get many option, if we see available striker on market, there are only few player good as Lukaku, we can't gambling like rich clubs do. We don't have money, and we don't have choice other than buy free players. If we looking Thuram, with PSG and other lurking arround, i am sure we got low chance.

I'm pretty sure the same shit was said last EL final.

Here we go again, the same shit as last summer? (although Gazzetta as a source, so it can be anything, most probably reporter day dreams)

Keeping Lukaku just makes sense, given that we're likely to get a good deal. As much as you all hate him for the final, you'd love him for 38 games in the league. We also won't have any better alternatives anyway.

Zhang himself said after the final they want to keep him but they need to talk with Chelsea first. At all costs sounds excessive but they will certainly make an attempt whether we like it or not.

Can't deny that. Lukaku will give us a great chance to win the Scudetto. If we could only reinforce our striker department so that Lukaku is not the guy in big games, he can be the force in those Serie A trips to Verona, Udine and so on.

This season he's been somewhat of a rotation striker. If that continues but with a lower salary of course, I wouldn't oppose that automatically. The opportunity cost to Lukaku is his salary going to some other player and as the salary won't be insignificant, there needs to be a proper analysis what we could get with that money.

What I don't like is if Zhang is interfering some moves but then he dictates the budget aswell.

Yeah and what we need to avoid is tie Lukaku or any other player to a possible Onana negotiations. If we sell Onana to Chelsea, it needs to be money only and then we separately deal Lukaku/Koulibaly etc loans, with favourable conditions. We are in a good leveraged position here so do not throw that position away.

A striker who doesn't press and try to win the ball back for the team has to have all the energy and the lucidity needed to not miss once a goal opportunity comes. TThe amount of money he costs us should be used on a striker that won't suck ass in critical situations.
I was wondering if Dzeko could have been kept on for at least another 10 mins simply because the moment Lakaka came on our pressing was not as profound.

We have to cut our losses on Lakaka now. I understand the financial predicament we are under and i can see how tempting a free loan plus reduced wage to say 5.5m will be for Zhang but the fact Lakaka is so lazy and cannot sacrifice himself for the club in the defensive phase tells me we are simply being suckers for this lazy self entitled prima donna and no amount of goals against the smaller teams will ever make it up because its these big games that ultimately make history. Lakaka will go missing in big games in the league as well and not win us the 2nd star.

Football may be about emotions but the running of the club especially if there is a financial crunch cannot be based on emotions. The club must always be ruthless for its objectives irrespective of feelings and emotions of the individual invovlved. When resources are limited you cannot waste them on guys who cannot sacrfice themselves for the team on the pitch irrespective of their and their agency's words to the media. If you love the club so much then go on and press the opposition and don't just stand there.

We refuse to learn from our mistakes and that's pure idiotism. The EL final showed us we needed to be ruthless and we were not. Now the UCL final again asks us to be ruthless. If we again show our emotional side then we are simply asking for more suffering.

we won the scudetto wit a finished Handa. I am pretty sure it will come up to our attackers being able to finish clear chances. If we can improve our defense and change Onana with Vicario, we should be able to fight for the scudetto... It also depends on who we bring for the attack. Loaning Lakaka for the league would be fine, even tho not something I would have as option 1. Its still much better than a Bundesliga 2 player... Now if we can somehow get a good proven attacker, then sure take him and let Lakaka be with Chelsea.
