I loved how he redeemed himself with that beast goal after missing the clear-cut goal 5 mins earlier. Also the first goal was nice shit by him, he owned Romagnoli there aswell like in the 3rd goal.

Still I can't keep myself from mentioning how shit he looked in the first half after the goal. He was visibly frustrated, walked a lot and somehow was distracted or something. Other players, specially Barella complaing to him A LOT during the match. From the TV view can't tell everything but most probably it was the movement or lack of it, which irritated his team mates. Our forwards, specially Lukaku, have VERY IMPORTANT role of being the beacon there in the offensive zone, to be available for passes, to react to loose balls. That's also part of the defence and specially when we are under pressure. Lukaku just read the game poorly or something but he didn't give much help in that regard today, or at least got specially Barella pissed a lot.

To not make this any kind of shit post or thinking I don't appreciate Lukaku, his 1+1 with great plays in good goals were crucial and I just LOVED that redemption goal. Felt so fantastic how he destroyed Romagnoli with that sprint and Donnarumma with that shot.

Don't get me wrong, I really like Lukaku as a player but maybe Inter has made me a masochist and because I want to know how critics view him. No one is perfect and I want to know what he did wrong today so I also can know when he evolves into a King.

I feel like the Lukaku debate is a misconception, as in I feel everyone rates him and no one hates him. We just have 2 sides of the spectrum..

1. The JMauler = Lukaku is God, world class.. Destroyed Milan

2. The Haters (didnt wanna name any 1 person) = Lukaku played bad, he wasn't good, he isn't world class (lol) etc etc

I think the group 1 exaggerate slightly on some points (the latter, not middle) and group 2 see him miss a few shots, a misplaced pass and can't get on board with him.
