This is a great game tbh. Really entertaining. No one has been bad as such but some guys have let themselves down at the critical moment - I'm thinking Barella's heavy touch when he could've been 1 on 1 with the keeper, and Augusto's poor cross when he should've had an assist for Thuram. Sanchez too, playing well on the whole but guilty of over-complicating things at the crucial moments. Pavard is fantastic. Klaassen showing the technique and smarts I expected from him.

The one and only worry here is that we come out of the second half looking completely flat - which as we all know, is a worrying trend of Limone's.
I'll add to this for the negatives - simply too much indecisiveness when we have the ball in attacking positions. Dumfries is chronically guilty of this of course.

He touched the ball like three times in the first 20mins, almost cost us a goal.

Then as soon as I badmouth him, he comes alive.
I meant it more of an indictment as to how bad Calhanoglu and Barella have been.

come on guys, Klaasen was awful off the ball. doesn't have the legs and he isn't Zidane to make up for it in the final third

Don't have one.
This was for me vintage inzaghi half of football, where I felt we had very little control, and it could have easily ended with both teams scoring at least two goals. Just high intensity stuff, like two boxers fighting without a guard. Don't like it at all...

Sanchez is Arnautovic level at best. Klaasen is actually pretty good considering he is often overlooked by teammates.
Thuram ..... :yao2:

He is our new now older Correa, completely useless, always noce having two subs who contribute as much as wooden stick

Well Scudetto I think we can burry that one with the sort of none existent consistency this team has, 4 good games followed by 4 equally bad ones.

is 'intensity' really the right phrase, or is it more like 'throwing the easiest chance to win the league we've had in a few seasons'?

i can already guess Inzaghis next move: min.70:
Carlos Augusto -> Dimarco
Calhanoglu -> Asllani (because of yellow)
Sanchez -> Lautaro

Don’t say your surprise, I hoped because of the vibe after CL final and 4 games in, but we are now officially back at being Inter… but it was fun while it lasted.

Well I’m sure we still get that CL spot, and further qualification in CL, heck we might win CI again but scudetto well we need to start showing an entirely different attitude and desire then the looser mentality currently infesting us.

I disagree. Yeah might be not playing that good now but he has still a good foot when it comes to crossing/passing. Correa was completly usless.

so i wonder if we're back pedalling on the 'inzaghi genius' thread yet?
Wait until there's a serious opponent or where the stake is high which doesn't require players to get motivated.

Now watch Inzaghi sub Pavard for Darmian or something.
