Last night was not different to the previous weeks - we have been mediocre since the derby.

I don’t think the final score was indicative of how the game went. Salernitana were pretty good for most of the game. Definitely not deserving of losing 4-0.

Good bounce back from us though. It wasn’t entirely pretty at points but we needed that. Especially with Milan and Napoli already winning this weekend.

I agree that the final result is a bit deceptive but Salernitana escaped big time in the first half - Sanchez and Dumfries should have scored.

We are top of the league because we have the most inform attacker in the world and because we found a golden goose in Thuram who out of nowhere turned out to be a crazy assist maker, not actually because of Inzaghi’s tactics. Tactically it’s been a bit of disaster the last 4 games.

We are currently winning on individual quality.

Martinez is clearly way too good for us and this league.

Arrigo Sacchi, is that you?

"WInning on individual quality" in a team sport is usually overused. The players' quality could make a difference, but without the proper tactic and setup the indvidual's quality could mean shit. If it was all about the individual quality, the teams with the best players reap all the rewards all the time.

Is it me or is there something fishy with their 66, for the first goal almost he can clear it, but he didn't and stopped right before he was about too.
Can someone explain it to me?

The way LM handled it was amazing, but I can't help to shake the feeling something is off with the 66 dude

It's generally a tough position for a defender as they are facing their own goal. I don't remember the exact scenario but maybe the defender felt that if he tried to stretch for the ball, there was the danger of scoring an own goal?
