Sensi and Bastoni got injured in Italy's training and they're doubtful against Sampdoria. :palm:

FUCK INTERNATIONAL BREAKS!!!

This is the kind of updates I need from international breaks.

Fuck.

Who cares if our players score a hattrick or do a backflip, all I need to know is how many minutes they play and if they are fit for our next game :palm:

So now the reports are that Sensi and Bastoni will remain with the NT and not return home early..

Some papers are writing that Satriano might get a chance, given that the argentine contingent is traveling and we have Real Madrid match coming up on Wednesday.

He returned to full training only yesterday. Even if he's available it's gonna be cameo at best.

If Sensi isn't available against Sampdoria, starting Satriano is our best option. Sanchez isn't ready to start and our asado clan is expected to return on Friday evening. The only alternative is starting with a midfield trio of Barella-Brozovic-Gagliardini and Hakan behind Dzeko. Yeah. Let's not go there.

I’d start Darmian as a wide CB if Bastoni is not available, I don’t know why both Inzaghi and Conte see Darmian as more of a wing back. At United he was used a lot as a wide CB by Jose, he can defend better than Di Marco and Kolarov that’s for damn sure

Would 4 at the back be such a bad idea in case one of the only 3 proper defenders we have gets injured? it's not ok like a totally different language, it's more like a different accent. They could play like that in 5-10 emergency games a year and get results, right

I don't care about the result of this game, I'm petrified thinking about how Kolarov will start against Real Madrid

I think Gagliardini might start this game and if he does I aint mad about it, if it means someone is rested for Real Madrid, bigger picture.

Who gives a fuck against Sensi, it’s not like he was killing it in the past 2 games. Dude was done since his first season here.

But is it the bigger picture? Odds are, our qualifying or not for the knockout stage isn't going to be determined by the Madrid games.

I am sure getting 3 points straight off the bat against arguably the hardest team in our group would be considered the bigger picture, yes. Correct though, qualification will not be defined by this game and the fate of Inter won't be defined by wether or not big Gagliardini fan favourite plays or not.

I would agree that it would do this team a whole lot of good mentally if they actually could win - or at least get a deserved draw, maybe - against a team like Real Madrid. I know this was something they were able to overcome last year, but there was also more quality on last year's team.

I think they are shit, but tinkerman isn't a terrible tactician so not counting on three points until I see it done. Especially if someone like Kolarov plays.

Nothing against Gaglia playing as he will score against them
