i certainly do

looking forward to seeing mourinho's 4-3-3/4-5-1 isnt going to leave a lot of room for forwards

ibra, adriano, balotelli, cruz and how much more space can u have to sign eto'o let alone trying to sell crespo and suazo?

its only logical

only way i see eto'o ending up in an inter shirt is if adriano goes the opposite direction

And Inter even published an official statement on this. So we are after one or more strikers, definitely. Drogba has been linked, but as I said, also Eto'o, because he would never have said he was considering the Inter option if we weren't interested. It might have something to with Milan's chase for strikers btw.

If Suazo or Crespo leave, we will need a new striker. Most likely we will need someone to replace Adriano.

So make it Etoo, or Drogba, simple enough. If Chelsea or Barca want him, now might be the time to use him as a bargaining chip. If he soars to new heights with those teams we still cannot have any regrets. IMO he needs a change of scenery as much as anything. When you have gone through trauma like he has, you probably just want some new surroundings, and not to have everything remind you of your pain.

I think Ibra will play up front, but not necessarily in the center of the 4-3-3. I think he will line up on the left or right wing, but play much further in field most of the time, and as for defence, yeah... I don't expect too much in that regard, hahaha. But people who say he can't play on the wing... Um... If there is open space Ibra can play there, and if you think about him sucking a defence off to one flank , it is really ideal in a lot of ways.
He will line up as a winger, but play more as a secondary striker, IMO.

We will see though, won't we!

If we bring in striker, I hope it will be someone mobile, with high stamina, to defend from behind, and runs into box...Kuyt which many dont like, but someone like him, or Etoo that is just too perfect...

Adri will be gone. Don't think he will stay. Inter cannot afford to repeat another mistake by paying his huge salary for nothing for another year.

Adri's salary will remain the same as it was with Sao Paulo... which was alot less than his original margin...Until he proves himself anyway. (This was part of the deal when Moratti agreed on his move to Sao Paulo)

Eto will be a last resort for us...

Adri was getting the same salary when he went to Sao Paulo as he was getting before. Just that, Sao Paulo were paying half of his salary, sticking us with the remaining half.

Even though I think Inter payed him some 50,000 euro a week. So we have defenately sell him and get a better player.

I never liked Eto'o and I don't feel we need him either -> Don't want him @ iNTER !
If Mourinho really considers buying a forward for NOW....well, I'd rather take Drogba.

He is linked with Inter again, also Arsenal and Chelsea.
If we sell Crespo and Suazo i would get him.

------------Zlatan/Cruz----------
-Eto'o/Balotelli----Mancini/Adriano-

I would love this.

Eto is a good player, I've always wanted to see him play for us...

but

1) Do we actually need a striker?
2) Can we afford him?

Correction: Eto'o is a GREAT player! Just watch his goals ratio at Barca and u will know what I mean.

If both of Crespo and Suazo leave, I would love to have Eto'o or Drogba. If Crespo stays, I will still be MORE than happy. At this moment we should be focusing on our midfield though.

Eto'o is a great player indeed. But one incident is still stuck in my mind. In 05/06, Wome missed the decisive penalty for Cameroon that would have taken the side to the 2006 World Cup. There were some chaos in the aftermath, really, and Wome & his family had to fear for their lives.

After the match, Eto'o claimed that Wome forcefully & selfishly wanted to take the penalty even though Wome was not the usual penalty taker. Now Eto'o was making one big lie, as it was clear that nobody wanted to have such a responsibility at their shoulder. Wome claimed this in an interview, and the NT captain, Rigobert Song, vindicated it.

So, all the talk about Eto'o having big balls and all that, he's still one big fat liar too.

There's no doubting his quality as a player though. But I don't think he'll fit in our team. I'd rather take one fucking last chance with Adriano then signing Eto'o.

WE DON'T NEED HIM, we have two strikers who were in great form at times last year, and three more who want to prove themselves

He's good, but he's a total prick. I don't want total pricks to Inter.

We do need him. A consistent goal scorer.

Cruz is the only striker we have who can be trusted to score on regular basis ATM, but he will be 34 next season.

It would be a big mistake not jumping on Eto'o now that he is available. Worldclass goalscorer, who has plenty of years left.
