Yeah, that last day of the Jan. transfer window was insane between that and Torre.s If Eto'o played in England he'd be being sold for like 60 million just because.

Mancini wanted to but the City board said no. They don't want Eto'o even if you sent cash our way.

unfortunately...not enough though

I'm glad we are holding out for more. I still have 1% hope that he'll stay and Anzhi would come to their senses.

So if Sky is right all along and they only offered 18mil, and now are offering 22mil, it makes Moratti's talk of the offer being "serious and appropriate" seem odd.

"The offer can be described as interesting, intelligent and reasonable to the value of the player. It is not up to me to judge whether it is indecent or not, but I can say that it is intelligent and values our player. Over the next few days we will assess it along with Eto'o and our directors."

Maybe he was only referring to the salary of Eto'o.

How is Russia going to try to out Italian the Italians? I smell a 8 year negotiation hell where neither side budges until Inter sells him for the original 30 million.

HA!

If those Russians don't fork out the extra 10 mil...they can piss off.

If Eto'o really wants the move, all he has to do is take out 20% of his salary over 3 years and give it to us, that should cover it.

If Inter didn't budge on Maicon there is no way in hell they can budge on Eto'o. If they do, I would be extremely disappointed as all of you would. Inter is stingy with cash in terms of purchases now, but Moratti has almost always gotten what he wanted from sales. Though, we must remember that if Eto'o is not sold, the chance of signing more players drops to nearly zero. Hopefully Muntari, Pandev, Milito, etc. can be sold so that a CM can be purchased.

30m.... not a euro less you stingy soup eaters.

Ideally, I'd want 35-40 but anything less than 30 and imma be pissed at Branca.

Don't you think if there was a big turn of events and Eto'o ended up staying that it could/would be detrimental to both us and Eto'o though? I mean the dude has clearly (mentally) moved on.

According to GdS, at lunch yesterday, Anzhi raised their offer from 22 to 24. Since Eto'o was valued at around 27.9 million in the deal for Ibra, Inter want to make a profit with this sale so we've made a small discount by going from 30 to 29. And we are not going any lower.

Still wish we could sell for 30. Doesn't seem worth it if it's lower than 25.

Yeah. It's fucking ridiculous if we sell for under 30m€. We didn't let Maicon go for 25m€ last summer and now we might be letting Eto'o go for under 30m€. WTF?
