These guys i trust the most, they ALWAYS put the correct sum, without the bonuses...

Even if it was 27m pounds, it's 32m Euros. If the bonuses are there, than it still goes to more than 35...

Just checked Vidic transfer, it is reported as 9 MP, but it was 7.5 MP.

Not sure which one to believe. But I would rather believe BBC, Guardian on this :)

Also it says Anderson was signed for 27 MP, no way. He was signed for 18 MP which was roughly 28 ME in 2007.

90% of the sum they put it's +/- 500k of what it's reported or officially said. Rarely any transfer has official sum though. Too much variables and bonuses these days.

27 million pounds is around 31 million euro. That was to Man City (players usually cost more for man city than other teams) and during winter transfer window. I bet we could've bought Dzeko during summer for 25 million.

Meh, never mind in the end. It;s not important, we went too much off topic.

Lol, I was just clarifying few things :D

Even yesterday I didn't deserve one, I replied and asked them to post in Premier league thread :p

I dont know how it was started. There was some confusion on Dzeko's price, so I posted few reliable ones..

No more from me then.. :)

I don't like the way the russians are playing [very smart], but the deal will go through. Transfer fee doesn't seem right when you see Torres for 65m, Carroll for 40m, Pastore for 43m, etc... Even Villa costed 40m and he's not even Eto'o! I mean you can't get a player of Eto'o's quality for 25m, not even for 30m! They are asking for 31m for Lavezzi, even more for Tevez... it doesn't make sense to let him go that cheap, unless we really need to sell  That's sad, but I`d also rather sell Eto'o than Sneijder. So since we sell for money, it's clear that replacement will be less expensive than the transfer fee... In normal conditions I would say to the Russians "If you want Eto'o, pay 40m because he's a true champion and much more than that! If not, you can have him for 25m in 2 years time ;)". Right now he still has many years of great football left, but money blinded him already. That's why he has to be sold - we don't want another "Maicon situation". It's a shame that he will leave for the same amount that Balotelli was sold... but yeah, I guess it's "WIN SOME LOSE SOME" like Sneijder and Ibra deals compensated...

I can't condemn Eto'o, he and his family were also abused of racism in Italy. He won my respect and I wish him good luck, my only concern now is the TRANSFER FEE. Btw, INTER also opted to sell him the russians because we didn't want to enforce a squad that is a contender or future contender to the UCL [like Man City].

If we really sell him for financial reasons, let's make the best out of it! Especially that these mofos HAVE money! Then only Tevez could be a suitable replacement. Good luck Branca!

The biggest point in this sale is the release of big salary from the salary budget. I don't like the transfer fee though, of course.

I'm sure further solutions could have been found to earn the money needed to keep Eto'o here. I mean you don't just give a HUGE contract until 2014 without knowing if you can pay the player!.

Selling other players over the years [yes, again the Pandev, Muntari, etc. and even Maicon story] could have raised these funds, but I think management saw an opportunity here, considering the age factor and INCOME possibility. Like some1 noticed very well, sooner or later Eto'o will be gone [while nobody can guarantee another year like the last one from him], so now we can also profit from him financially. Combined with the fact that this is the ONLY summer in Tevez's career where we have a true chance to sign him, I think it could be the wise decision after all [also keeping Sneijder this way!!]. Refusing russians is quite an offence for them, so be sure they wouldn't have returned again with such an offer next year.

I'm not against the selling of Eto'o [especially that he personally received such an INDECENT proposal, private helicopter, huge villa in Moscow, 7m signing fee, etc. etc... with Roberto Carlos receiving a fuckin` BUGATTI VEYRON for his birthday from his owner!!...] but if the russians have that kind of money, Branca should also do his best! Meanwhile I'm sure Tevez transfer is prepared, this would only make sense like this! Btw, press eventually wrote what I said months ago: Tevez is willing to take a wage cut. So as far as Tevez comes IN this summer, we are still competitive.

Congratulations Samuel for the BEST DEAL EVER for the BEST STRIKER 20 million + bonuses per year, tbh it should be 25 mill and one mill. from that for ME!!!! ;-))))) Thank you for all your amazing goals for Inter and for my hat trick!

30 million transfer fee? Has everyone gone crazy? YOU GET TO OWN HIS BOOTS FOR THAT not the player! I think 30 mill is the loan fee for 1 year... read SAMUEL ETO'O REMAINS AN INTER PLAYER ;-)
Enjoy your working holiday Samuel and I am sure we have not seen the end of the Eto'o magic for Inter.

Where did you read: "Samuel eto'o remains an inter player" b/c i think eto'o is going to anzhi as every major newspaper is reporting the deal that its going to happen. So did something happen and eto'o will remain in inter for upcoming season?

These boys at Anzhi are loaded, but they also aren't stupid. Money for them is clearly no option, so people ask why don't they do for Tevez instead of Eto'o, and my reply is, they are not that stupid.

However we clearly we are, because we are continually linked to the homesick fuckup that could fail to turn for training one day because he decides he's finished in Italy.

Gotta think of the financials. In the long run, its the right move. Just have to make sure that we spend the money correctly and shrewdly. Finding the right winger, especially for this system can be vital but will probably not replace the loss of Eto. And if we happen to find that player, especially if he is young (Hazard hopefully if we nab him) it would be a blessing.

Obviously no one wants the player who just carried us through a season to leave. It's a hard thing to part ways.

Am I the only one who wants this fuckfest to be concluded as soon as possible?

Yes I know he's leaving, but until there is an official statement, a part of my heart still uncontrollably denies that Eto'o is gone.

Just a matter of minutes/hours, surely.

Though it worries me most whether or not we'll get a suitable replacement in time, I really can't handle a repeat of last season :|
