I really want to try my hardest not to get mad at something before it's had a chance to happen...but I can't say I'm succeeding all that much right now. Ever since that Tuesday meeting, the transfer targets and window that (we were led to believe) had been mapped out has completely disappeared from view.

If Tonali (and Kumbulla) still happen, then, by all means, I know I'll have jumped the gun a bit. Silly season has that effect, after all. But if we really end up punting on some of these targets that we've had lined up for some time just to abide an unstable person who is prone to hissy fits and rage quits at any moment...this club deserves what happens to it.

I don't believe for a second that scudetto isn't priority in his mind. If the statement is true at all it probably has to do with protecting mentally weak fucks in our team from crumbling,from media pressure or protecting himself. Remember what he said last year, if there was one percent chance for scuddetto its good enough for me or something along those lines.

I'm positive we've told Tonali to wait. We've changed our prio to Vidal so we will try to sign him first. Then if we can offload more midfielders, we will clinch Tonali. That's my prediction.

In this scenario, I don't like this prio we've agreed. It's a clear bending to Conte, basically throwing away future for immediate, possible success. We might end up with both and that would be great, but still I'm questioning the management's decision making.

adding a bit more backbone in our midfield isnt a bad idea, sensi and barella are great players but a bit lightweight still IMHO, and not amazing defensive contributors (Barella generally is until about the 20th minute when he gets booked).

Kolarov is a rotation option for Bastoni/Young I suspect? It's fine, upgrading bench quality.

Last time I checked this forum, very few rare members knew who Tonali was, but now all of a sudden everybody is an expert that he’s the next Pirlo or Xavi, and the world gonna end if we don’t get him. We supposed to get every shiny new player that comes around.
It’s not even clear he’s going to Milan or where, we might as well end up getting both(Vidal&Tonali), yet the hate machine already started.
Our team is relatively young, so a Vidal and a Kolarov for a year or two, absolutely is not over 30 dead-weight, it’s a necessity at this point. Stop talking out your asses as we have like 10+ players who are over 30 and dead-weight, whatever fuck that term means.
Also, I’d definitely get Locatelli instead of Tonali.

Vidal for me makes zero sense when we already have Nainggolan. I'd rather have Radja tbh and he's still an Inter player.
