Shame Juve is going to be able to move ronaldo. I was banking on his being there making their attack clunky and halting the growth of Chiesa.
Still doesn’t take away the fact they’re losing their top scorer of the last 3 seasons/ best player. We’ll see who comes in his place— if it’s Kean, I’m not too worried.

Also how the fuck are they about to offload McKennie for so much money. He’s a 12mil euro player tops.

Ronaldo leaving and replaced with Lacazette or Kean. Doesn't strike fear tbh. Ronaldo despite his overall shitty displays, did score 30goals last season and is loss for Rube. Chiesa has exploded and could score 20g easily, but Morata , Kean prima punta? Naah.

What I don't like are Haaland and Raspadori rumours im reading already ffs. These 2 players will be amazing for any side. We need to secure Raspa pronto.

You can argue Ronaldo hasn’t justified his price and 31m could be used to make Juve stronger. But saying he was bad or hindered Chiesa is stretched. Despite the age, Juve lose arguably the best Serie A player the last two years. Anyone coming will be a massive downgrade, next year at least.

Sporting-wise, them losing Ronaldo is no less than Inter losing Lukaku. More fortunate for them that there are still plenty of forwards in the team (Kaio Jorge, Dybala, Morata).

I hope Fiorentina get relegated if they sell Vlahovic to Juve. Or sorry not “sell”. More like a 2 year paid loan that will eventually become 6 obligated payments of €15m every second year.

The good thing in this is that Ronaldo is leaving so late in the window so Juve don't have time to plan this correctly. They could have done so much more if they knew in June or early-mid July that Ronaldo will leave.

Good for Juve is that they have basically a new asset in Dybala who will slot right in to replace Ronaldo. Dybala was abysmal last season (Covid and shit) and now he will bring in more goals. He's not gonna replace Ronaldo's goals but it's not like Juve will score 30 goals less if they don't bring anyone in. Juve didn't start scoring 30 extra goals when Ronaldo came in. Goals weren't just distributed all over the lineup anymore, but they went to Ronaldo.

The Fiorentina owner just ranted about the Chiesa deal and how Juve behaved there a few days back. It sets the tone for it to be repeated on Vlahovic now.

Basically juve came fc Ronaldo with him been the focal point for every attack and even Free kicks which he's absolutely terrible at. Ronaldo might have got him self his goals for his own personal glory, but what did do for juve? Made them worse off than they were before. With his wages gone juve will be a much better team and start buying top players again unfortunately.

Juve will probably get someone who's a downgrade over Ronaldo. But offloading him is still good for them. Allegri is leaning towards a 4-3-3 which turns into 4-4-2 when they defend. An attacking trio of Chiesa - Dybala -Ronaldo would be really dysfunctional but it was his only option as he couldn't bench Ronaldo. In terms of individual quality they're going to lose a lot but their system is going to be a lot more functional now and it could help them strengthen the team in other areas as well.

Btw just imagine the reaction of the media if it was Lukaku forcing a move out of Inter in the last days of the market. Instead now we read about all the positives Ronaldo sale brings to Juve, from financial stability to improvement on the pitch.

Cristiano Ronaldo at Juve (2018-2021):

- Fastest Juve player to score 100 goals.
- Most goals scored in Serie A since his arrival.
- Most MOTM awards in Serie A.
- Most goals scored by a Juve player in UCL.
- Most match winning goals scored in Serie A.

Failure? I think not. - happy that he is going , juve are weak now

Yeah this is indeed what has been going in my mind in these days. It would be an absolute bloodbath in the media if it was Inter.

Because PR wise this is a total catastrophe for Juventus. Absolute disaster. The best player in the world wants to leave your club, has told he will never wear Juve jersey again. He has emptied his locker already, told his team mates he's gonna leave. And there's still no deal in place. And all this at when there are less than week left of the mercato.

Irrelevant. Juventus hasn't scored any more goals after Ronaldo arrived. Despite him scoring a lot, it hasn't effected the outcome. Juve won 2 Scudetti as expected. Lost one. Got to quarters in CL once, two Round of 16 failures.

Agnelli brought Ronaldo in to win the CL. He took so big slice of their financial resources that they couldn't improve other aspects of their team and didn't build the team to support Ronaldo 100%. They weren't close to winning the CL, not even remotely.

Failure as a signing.

Why was Juventus failure as a team be blamed entirely on Ronaldo's transfer? I see more on the coach change. Allegri -> Sarri is a downgrade. Lol don't need to mention Pirlo.

I don't think Juve can gain anything significant in CL with those two guys, with or without Ronaldo.
