I fear Juventus will go for Vlahovic and Milinkovic-Savic as a result of this transfer.
They had to haggle desperately for Locatelli. How could they even begin to have the funds for SMS and Vlahovic this late in the window? Ronaldo isn’t gonna bring back a huge transfer fee. Lotito is a fool but he’s not gonna sell his best player when the season is already started. Sarri would probably rage quit.

Vlahovic I’m less sure about. Commisso is a juventino even if he’s spoken ill of them recently. I still don’t trust him.

They're freeing 60m, getting 30m on top of that and they even make some capital gains from this..

They'll have money to spend. And stop thinking in terms of supermarket transactions. All these deals are done in lengthy instalments.
It's all about budgeting and here we're talking about +100m gains that can be allocated elsewhere.

SMS and Vlaho are 150M€

There's no way. Look at the current reports. Kean almost secured for option to obligation (ca 25M€) Kean is 1/3 of Vlahovic price. Then chasing 10M€ Witsel .

I believe they will get Kean, but budget this '60M' to next season. Better prepping , more time. Maybe bigger signings. Who knows.

Romeo Agresti reports the same. So far there's no indication Juve are going to spend big for the attack. It's still early though. Ronaldo isn't even officially gone yet.

Cristiano Ronaldo at Juve (2018-2021):

- Fastest Juve player to score 100 goals.
- Most goals scored in Serie A since his arrival.
- Most MOTM awards in Serie A.
- Most goals scored by a Juve player in UCL.
- Most match winning goals scored in Serie A.

Failure? I think not. - happy that he is going , juve are weak now
No one will deny CR7's quality, even at this age. This dude is one of the greatest players of all time. When I talk to people of a previous generation, I am fascinated about their experiences of growing up at the time of Cryuff, Facchetti, etc. I have no doubt that our grandkids will ask us similar questions about Messi & Ronaldo. We are privileged to watch these legends play in our lifetime.

That said, I totally understand the other viewpoint here. Aside from his usual awesomeness individually, CR7 had a crippling effect on Juventus financially and tactically. Indirectly, the transfer of CR7 led to the departures of Marotta and subsequently Allegri. It also meant coaches (eg Sarri) could not properly implement their tactical style. Juve also missed out of some great deals in the mercato due to the financial burden of CR7 (eg Donnarumma). His presence also crippled the growth of players like Dybala and Chiesa. His leaving now will give Allegri a lot of tactical flexibility and Juventus some financial room to rebuild another great side.

As an Inter fan, I would much rather see Juventus still dependent on the waning (tho still awesome) powers of a 36 year old CR7 and the financial & tactical limitations that come as a part of the package. So I too was hoping that CR7 stays.

I dont like this scenario. I know it sounds crazy but they played slower and predictable with him, now with Dybala and Chiesa they will be stronger.

Better terminate the contract. I don't want to see them not making a capital loss on this.

I still believe though that this leaves Juve much better off. Sure they will miss those goals, and the fact that he would come up in clutch moments. But a lot of those moments came about since the team was so imbalanced due to him. Now that imbalance won't be there.

Allegri has reached 2 CL finals earlier, and was only eliminated by Real and Ronaldo in the semis once.

Before Ronaldo came, Allegri managed all that with an attack of Dybala/Higuain/Cuadrado/Mandzukic/Morata/Bernardeschi. Now they are much better off. The better names from earlier list are still here, and Kulusevski/Chiesa are big names to add to that.

The midfield is worse off, but Witsel and Locatelli gives them enough steel and adds to the balance. I am not scared of Juve now, but they are still favourites for the title. And you can expect them to do better in CL than they did with Ronaldo.

Im on the side that Juve as a team would be better without Ronaldo. They might lose individual quality, but as a team would be less predictable, their other forwards will score more. Even midfielders for that matter.

The only favourable thing for City is they are taking ManUtd legend. Remedy for Sancho.

Don't have one.
I read they need 25 mil from this transfer just to balance the books, that's why they are asking for that specific 25-30 mil fee. I doubt they will spend big, at least this summer.

According to Sky, Sassuolo have stopped negotiations with Juventus for Raspadori because the player has rejected Juventus. Raspadori cuore nerazzurro. 🖤💙

Giacomino needs to be playing here next year.
Absolutely. He would be a great replacement for Sanchez in 2022 and the presence of Correa would give him time to adjust and improve.

Btw don't you love Raspadori was untouchable for Sassuolo when Inter asked for him but suddenly Sass are willing to sell him in a time of need for Juventus?
