Hakan brings some creativity, Kessie not. And why the hell, we will pay 5 mln in this case to Hakan? To sit on the bench? We don't need another Dzeko.
They would both play many games, there are teams against who is better to field Hakan and teams against who is better to field Kessie. But yep, we dont need him. Just dont bitch when shitshow starts after we lose one of our midfield starters.

But why we got Asllani and Mkhitaryian in this case? Kessie would be good if we have money, but in this situation it's better to get someone like Christensen.

Their defense is still a big question mark imo but they’ve made massive strides this mercato. I’m praying they (Allegri) finds a way to blow it and makes everyone want to leave.
CB is probably their only weakness right now. Bremer will have to adjust to a 4 man back line as well. And his partner will be Bonucci. Not exactly Il Muro in his prime.

The health of Chiesa and Pogba will be telling too. Chiesa is coming off an injury that some players never truly recover from and Pogba has been on and off injured for a few years now.

They're also weak on fullbacks. Cuadrado is one year older, Danilo is just decent, De Sciglio is their own Darmian and Sandro is done at the top level.

But they have strengthened A LOT in midfield and attack. Especially if they also sign Paredes and Depay. Even if Pogba doesn't work for them, signing Paredes would allow Allegri to use Locatelli higher on the pitch where he's best at. Paredes, Locatelli, Pogba, Zakaria, McKennie is a good and deep midfield. As for the attack, they're loaded as fuck. Di Maria, Chiesa, Vlahovic, Depay, Kostic, Kean. Very good quality and depth.

I agree, between the two I would prefer Christensen. He would be a decent long term replacement for De Vrij, which is possibly the biggest gap in our squad right now.

Agreed, the defence & full backs are their only weak area. If Allegri decides to change to a 3 man defence, that would solve a lot of their issues. They have some great potential wing backs in Cuadrado, Chiesa, Kostic, even Di Maria. Also that system suits Bremer & Bonucci a lot more. They can just buy Milenkovic or even better someone like Gvardiol at LCB, they will be set for a new winning era:

Vlahovic (Depay) - Chiesa (Kean)
Kostic (Sandro) - Locatelli (Miretti/Fagioli) - Paredes (Zakaria/Rovella) - Pogba (Mckennie) - Cuadrado (Di Maria)
Gvardiol (Gatti) - Bonucci (Rugano) - Bremer (Danilo)

That is seriously top notch. Hopefully Allegri is too stubborn to try this.

Yeah not surprised really, Juventus was never going to stay down for long. This is why it was imperative we won last year, it might be a while now before we get that 2nd star. Not even because Juve is so amazing, we are just gradually heading in the wrong direction.

So frustrating when you think about what this team could have been if we even had the finances of a mid table EPL club.

Inter got a good deal for Pinamonti under current circumstances, specially with the buy back clause (just in case). Looking at the Simeone deal, we got good value. I know Simeone is older, but he had a better season than Pinamonti.

It is a good deal under ANY circumstances. He's slow, not particularly strong so glad we got rid of him for 20m.

I understand they don't have CL revenues anymore, but this seems a bit much. Their moves so far made sense, Ederson & Lookman were smart moves to cover for their sales. But now with Freuler & Malinovskyi I am confused as to what they are trying to achieve. Is this the end of the Atalanta fairy tale or will they rise like a Phoenix yet again?

Serie A is bleeding talent this season
If I'm not mistaken, both Remo and Ruslan have expiring contracts. I can't see Atalanta being able to offer them better salaries. So maybe this is why they're leaving

Tbh I'm not THAT impressed by Rube. They are clearly favorites, but it's not Conte's Rube for example imo

And just as a fan, except Bremer, I would pass on all their reinforcements.

Ya that fucker really worries me, he was so good under Conte
We play with a higher defensive line than we did under Spalletti and Conte so this could be a factor. His contract situation has also affected him. If De Vrij doesn't return to form this season, we need to move on from him, move Skriniar to middle and sign a fast ball playing cb for the right side.

Of course this is easier said than done when there's no money.

Juve's backline is shit except Bremer, everyone else is old.

I wonder how they will play, on paper it looks they will outscore everyone in the league but fuck it would be glorious when teams sit back and they 0-0 or 0-1 with teams hitting the counter!!!

More or less we havent changed, and Milano wont get kissed on the dick twice!!
