I'd like for us to keep Carboni and Zanotti. Others I don't care about. If Carboni and Zanotti are included in the team and we sell Correa (ha ha), Arnautović (he'll probably stay as a fourth option) and Dumfries, we can buy a CB and try to go into the season with a bit younger squad.

Have Buchanan and Zanotti on the right side, Dimarco and Carlos Augusto on the left. Darmian should be a bench player that comes on when somebody needs a breather on the wing.
How do you know that Buchanan and Zanotti will be better than Darmian?

I want more dynamic players on the wing. His main position should be RCB, but we already have two really good options there.

I've recently read that Jube want to send Djalo on loan.
Yes, this is the same guy who was supposed to join us on a free deal, but Jube bought him in the winter.
It seems that we didn't miss anything here.
Rubentus are willing to include Djalo in the Calafiori deal. They are desperate to sign the defender raised by Roma's academy.

Changes in non-EU players registration

Lega Serie A President Lorenzo Casini has confirmed that as of the 2024-25 campaign, there will be a significant change to the league’s rule on registering non-EU players.
The current rule states that Serie A clubs are allowed to register up to two non-EU players per season, one of which had to be a replacement for an outgoing non-EU player.

However, from next season onwards, teams will be allowed to register two non-EU players per season without having to replace an already existing non-EU player, as Casini confirmed upon the conclusion of Tuesday’s meeting of the Lega council.

Take Inter as an example in Serie A

Recently crowned Serie A champions Inter provide a good example of the upcoming rule change.

In the 2022-23 season, the Nerazzurri sold Cameroonian goalkeeper Andre Onana to Manchester United. In turn, they were then able to register two new non-EU players, as they had cleared up a spot in their squad. Thus, they brought in Chilean Alexis Sanchez that summer, and then Canada international Tajon Buchanan in January.

Theoretically, if Inter had kept hold of Onana, and assuming they didn’t sell any other non-EU player, they would not have been able to register Buchanan, as there would not have been any available slots.

Importantly, non-EU players who were already based in Italy do not count as a newly registered non-EU player. Alexis Sanchez does, as he was based in France, playing for Marseille, prior to his Inter return.
Bento Matheus Krepski has Italian citizenship (along with Brazil), while Taremi is Iranian. So Inter will be able to sign another non-EU player.

Assuming Inter have the money for another striker, & our target Gudmundsson costs 50m, that 40m release clause on Zirkzee is tempting

Juve have already discussed personal terms with Di Gregorio but one between Szczesny and Perin should leave in June.

🇮🇹 Riccardo Calafiori & Di Gregorio remain among Juve top targets.

That was before he decided to beat women.

I posted about this in another thread, but I would hate to see this happen. He's a great keeper and surely a step up from Szczesny.

Jube waiting for an answer from Motta too. As per Romano, they do not negotiate with another coach for now.
It will be sweet if Motta reject them, but I don't see this happening.

Would be funny if Chelsea somehow offered him 10m a year and he jumps there

If Juventus can complete deals for Motta, Di Gregorio, Koopmeiners, Calafiori and a decent striker then that would be an exceptional mercato for them and would make them favourites next season.

I swear it sucks being an inter fan in the transfer window. Theres never anything to be excited about.

In the Moratti era, the transfer windows were great fun, the season was disappointing. Now the transfer windows are not exciting, but the season is great. I prefer now.

Going to Jube according to Romano

🚨 𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐖𝐄 𝐆𝐎! Thiago Motta to Juve, deal set to be signed after formal steps done ⚪⚫

The manager has informed Bologna of his decision to leave the club after fantastic season, as expected…

Thiago Motta will now sign in as new Juventus head coach on contract initially valid until June 2027.

No it would not make them favorites. Inter would still be the stronger one.
