I think Inzaghi would do really good in an stable team, because he's pretty great tactically but it seems he's not a good motivator, at least in the sense that he cannot get his players to keep concentration for 90 minutes every game.
Also the ownership problems and the Škriniar shenanigans have evidently affected our season, I don't know if the effect was 5 or 10 or 15 points but it was definitely significant, and keeping the players mind on the game and not on outside factors seems like one of Inzaghi's weak spots.
Finally we have had too many long injuries, Škriniar, Brozović, Lukaku and
Correa all have been injured for about half a season each. Juist imagine if we had lost Škriniar, Brozović and Lukaku for similar amounts of time under Conte's last season, no way in hell we would have gotten that Scudetto, hell we may have been fighting for top 4 then too.
The problem with Brozović is not only that we lose him, it's that then we run Çalhanoğlu, Mkhitaryan and Barella into the ground, and the same applies for Lautaro and Džeko playing so many games because of Lukaku and
Correa injuries, you're gonna misfire a lot more if you're super tired.
In defense even without Škriniar injuries and problems we always looked short on players. Acerbi and specially Bastoni have made a lot of mistakes, and again probably have a lot to do with exhaustion, it's hard to keep concentration for 90 minutes when you're tired and Bastoni has looked very tired in many games.
For next season, if we keep everyone (except Škriniar and Lukaku) we're short 2 CBs, 1 MF and 2 FWs, the only position we're good is WBs but even there it would be great to upgrade to a really top game changing player since that position is so important to our game.
Then we could also change coach and formation in which case we'll only need 1 CB and 1 MF but 4 WFs.
