While I agree most of the points here, I wouldn't draw too many conclusions. We had the game in our control for 70 minutes. One Brozovic (a bit of Sanchez too) blunder then resulted us taking 6vs3 counter attack starting from the center line. We usually do not do that, it's not systemic so it was a blunder. Big misjudgement. That's all.

So while we could have conceded later IMO it didn't look like that. Of course you need to look for more goals always but Milan was putting pressure on us but not getting much out of it before the goal. Inzaghi's subs are a bit fucking weird and frustrating but I wouldn't be too worried. We still dominated Milan most of the match. It was in balance, not like we were piled to our half an box and couldn't do anything.

Hopefully Inzaghi and the team learns something from this as this felt indeed like the Lazio debacle. We score first goal and then we don't actually have much trouble before something unexpected happens (it wasn't like Lazio was all over us back then, like Milan wasn't all over us). Unexpected happens and they score. We should react better to that. I think the team is still learning this as they need to change the gear back to the one when they were looking hard for the first goal. Not this paralysis where we then end up conceding more.

What for? Being at the top of the table +1 with a game in hand? Overreacting seems to be the word of this forum nowdays.
For yesterdays embarassing perfomance. He should be apologize! Does not matter which table position we are.

Yea. Inzaghi is too hands-off with the team mentally. Too trusting. This team needs an authoritarian like Conte to keep them reined in.
I agree with you! This team only works with a dictator. We have seem what happens to the players when the get to much freedom. The start to think they are the best in the world and do rookie misstakes. Weak coaches like spaletti, Ranieri, Pioli, Inzaghi does not work here. We need a dictator

Atleast he brought us to last 16 in CL with fkn Dzeko,Correa and Dumfries. Other guy couldnt do shit with Lukaku,Eriksen and Hakimi. And didnt apologize for that.

Well the fault was Lukakus big head, so Lukaku should apologized.

This was all on Inzaghi, back Home 60 min like a scared little girl. Its embarrising, and a big reason this little coach has never won.

It would be fun to see Cunte what he would do with this squad. But we wont, cause he ran away, like chicken. Better this than watching all over again Greece Euro 2004 performances with players like Hakimi,Eriksen...No thanks.

By your logic Alexis should apologize,or Handa, right?

Don't have one.
Maybe try and play with one striker some games, like we did against genoa at the start of the season, it looked ok tbh. I'm sure we would look fresher in attack as supposed to how we look now.

Not sanchez but Handanovic should apologize. Or give back the captains armband, should be ashamed of himself

The yellow-card subbing is becoming silly, honestly. I'm sure he remembers being able to manage himself on one as a player.

Barella managed 6 games while being one away from a suspension last year
He was asked about it in the past and he said once he had left a player with a yellow card on the pitch and he ended up getting a red (i think it was Parolo). So since there are 5 subs allowed now he sees no reason to take risks.

I am not expecting him to change this silly approach anytime soon. We need to learn living with it. 🙃

And yet he watches Dzeko miss sitters every week and that doesn't leave him with the same lasting sense of trauma? :palm:

Realistically that option left with Sensi. Now if we play a midfielder behind the striker we need to use one of Gags, Vecino or Vidal in midfield, which is a problem.

Inzaghi's Inter have been pretty poor against good sides. So far we have been pretty consistent against the small sides, and that is helping us. But we gotta turn up in big games and close those games out.

Another worry for me is that Inzaghi's Lazio were notorious for collapsing in the 2nd half of the season. I hope that doesn't happen at Inter. This Scudetto far from decided.

I'd say we've dominated at least half of the big matches, probably more and the lack of goal scoring has become our issue in those. I don't understand how can you say we've been pretty poor in those matches. We weren't poor against Milan, single events decided the match but we fucking dominated them for the good part of the match.

Don't know what Inzaghi should do differently in them. Maybe all out attack for 90mins but then again, it might be we don't have the energy for that.

Dont agree, we dominanted 45 min. Milan dominated 45 min, all our eleven players stood in their own half.

I am talking about results. Inzaghi's Inter does not have a good record in games against the top teams. In games against the rest of the top 6 in Serie A, we have won 2, drawn 4, lost 2. And we lost both our games against Madrid in the CL. 10 points from 10 games. Thats quite poor.

Okay, you need to talk about pure results then because they have lacked behind our overall performances.

The biggest problem in this team is the lack of speed. We get a nice counter chance and we have absolutely zero pace. We need to fix this for him in the summer.
This is a big issue in the way we play vs the last two years.

We cannot sit back and be considered a threat without Hakimi and Lukaku being counter attacking threats. That makes us more vulnerable at the back so we have to increase our overall focus.
