Looks like Sinisa time at sporting is coming to an end... After 8 days.

Sporting to sack Mihajlovic?
By Football Italia staff

Former Torino and Milan Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic could be sacked by Sporting CP - just eight days after he took over.

The Serbian joined the Portuguese side last Monday, signing a three-year deal in Lisbon.

It’s a club in crisis though, with a number of players looking to rescind their contracts after being physically assaulted by supporters.

Controversial President Bruno de Carvalho has been voted out by supporters, and now Record and AS are reporting that the new board don’t Mihajlovic.

There are some clauses in his contract that would allow the Coach to be sacked without paying his full contract, as he’s within the first 15 days and pre-season training hasn’t started yet.

However, Mihajlovic would still be in line for around €2m if he is indeed sacked after just eight days.

What a fucking shit show Sporting is these days. It s just sad.
Anyways why the fuck would you go and fire miha? Ok he might not be the greatest coach but does your club really need additional turbulences?
Most likely next season is fucked anyway this summer will be chaotic and nobody knows how many new players will need to be integrated next season neither is it known wether sporting will have money to buy replacements for the players that are going to leave.

Just my two cents but getting rid of Miha brings even more chaos to a club who desperatly needs calmness.

There will be new elections and it´ll take 2 months to elect the new president, anyone who´ll try to be the new president will have a coach and that will be a key piece in the process of winning votes, that´s why in this stages there are usually famous international manager involved. He´d get sacked anyway in 2 months unless he was top at the league and the team was playing amazing which is unlikely.

There´s also some doubts if the 2M settlement is true, in the press some experts were saying that his contract only starts July 1st so they can back out of the deal before that by considerably less money, and I believe that´s what they are going to do, plus he´s not a manager who knows anything about Sporting, or the Portuguese league for that matter, so what´s the point of keeping him? The guys that trusted him are no longer there and he´d be alone in that mess and also as a constant reminder that he was their last delusional president elected coach. I can´t see anyone respecting him because of that.

Sporting will most likely put Inácio in charge who´s a former Sporting coach that has a more administrative role at this time and for me that´s the right move.

Tito Vilanova was suffering from parotid gland cancer.

The leukemia is really very scary and dangerous. The ex-captain of Bulgarian national team Stiliyan Petrov was diagnosed with acute leukaemia (the same like Sinisa). Не heals completely after very strong chemotherapy and now he is alive and healthy.

I remember my 8-year old childhood friend die from acute leukemia, probably one of the most traumatizing experience I've had in the childhood. Thank God this disease can be cured nowadays (at least the percentage of people getting cured gets higher and higher every year). Get well soon, Sinisa!
