Rafael Borre looks like a really exciting prospect. Followed up his Colombian call up with a good goal for Deportivo Cali tonight.

Cali 3 strikers are U20 and have 6,6, and 8 goals.

Cali and Envigado have amazing youth systems. Cali has a great relationship with Udinese so wouldnt be surprised if these guys all end up at Granada and Udineae by this summer.

Surprised becauae Borre was garbage during qualifiers. Has seriously gone super Saiyan mode. It's probably because our U20 coach is shit!

Watching Estudiantes last night was like travelling back in time to the 60s. I haven't seen such a dirty group of players in a long time. I'm amazed Osvaldo managed to keep his cool enough not to retaliate.

haha yeah, but still it didn't work. They all tried to piss Osvaldo, specially Desábato and Israel Damonte, but they ended the match with 9 players and 0-3, and one goal of Osvaldo. Still no hard feelings, hope they go through the group stage

Any argie league players you think are good enough to make the jump to Europe who aren't just media hyped?

uhmm... frankly, my last "predictions" about players who were gonna jump to Europe (Juan Sanchez Miño did play at Torino, but for some strange reason he is now playing at Estudiantes) were complete shit
But well, there are plenty of players. I've seen centerforward Guido Carrillo at Estudiantes and he's a tank, scored a hat-trick against Barcelona (ecuador), and seems to have a very good future, he's only 23.
Also Gustavo Bou from Racing has had a great perfomance in the last year and scored 6 goals in the first 2 Libertadores matches (the top scorer in the 2014 edition scored 6 goals). If he keeps that way, he might jump to Europe. Still, I believe he depends a lot from what Milito does. Washington Camacho, offensive midfielder also from Racing, is doing very good too, assisted Milito and Bou a lot.
IMO, River's attacking midfielder Gonzalo 'Pity' Martínez could jump to Europe, he's a very good dribbler, although a little media hyped.

Then, the obvious player that will surely arrive at Europe (maybe next season, if Independiente can't hold him) is Federico Mancuello. He's had such great performance that he was called for National Team, and recently scored a great gol against El Salvador

And well, from Boca, there's forward Jonathan Calleri who gets blood out of stones, keeps on pressuring the defenders the whole match, and also scores a lot. He is struggling with Osvaldo to see who's the starter every weekend, and he's only 21. I think his future is at Serie A.
Nicolás Colazo, a left midfielder who actually plays as a left back, might jump to Europe eventually, he's 24. Andrés Cubas is only 18 and has already been called from Paraguay to play the Copa América. Luckily, U-20 Argentina's coach called him too, and he chose to play for Argentina. He's a defensive midfielder and it's really great the way how he defends and recovers balls without foul. Unfortunately he is injured, I think (and hope) he'll return soon.

And there are plenty more... attacking midfielder Franco Cervi from Rosario Central (they are 3rd, and were 1st last week) is only 20 years old... Lucas Albertengo is the top scorer of Independiente and he's 24... Also, some non-argie players playing here that I think will jump to Europe are colombian Álvarez Balanta from River, and uruguayan Nicolás Lodeiro from Boca

Why do you like Chavez so much? I've seen him like 10-15 times and am not impressed. Not challenging your opinion just that I've seen you mention him a few times and was curious.

Yeah I have gone on about him, maybe a bit too much. But I do think he's a player ready for Europe now. Maybe even as a squad player for a club like Inter. He has all the attributes: quick, strong, good finish and can play up front or on the wing. Injuries have curtailed him somewhat since his move to Boca, but for me the best player at the club.

Rafael Borre with another goal for Deportivo Cali yesterday. This is a player Inter should be looking at before the Portuguese clubs get in there.

Rafael Borre with another goal for Deportivo Cali yesterday. This is a player Inter should be looking at before the Portuguese clubs get in there.

Borre needs to have a huge World Cup. He was utter shit in the qualifiers finishing wise. Don't know if it or u20 coach sucks or if Nt shirt was too heavy for him. Percido the other striker for Cali is only 20 and has 10+ goals already.

Inter def not the place for him to develop. He seems like a faster Falcao minus the finíshing and heading ability. Think he is 19 so pretty excited about him. Would like him to go to Atletico Madrid or PSV. Or Juve if they send him go Sassulo to develop without a ton of pressure like Zaza. Does Juve own that team or just "super friendly with them and Udinese.

Kid is worth at least 3 million euro tho I doubt Cali would take that little for him. This is what can kill any possible good potential move for the kid. As the teams where he could start or develop can't afford him. I just really hope they don't do anything retarded like sell him to the MLS or Mexico

He has to prove he can preform under pressure tho as again his WCQ performances showed how green he was. A big WC can see his price sky rocket.

From what I've seen, his finishing looks really good for a young striker. I think for Inter they have to move now for players like him, no point in waiting until he has established himself in Europe, they won't be able to afford him then. It's tricky, inter are not great at developing youth. If they had signed Dybala before Palermo he probably wouldn't have developed as well as he has. But now he is too pricey. They need to gamble a bit more on players like Borre and loan him out if needs be.

I like the Falcao comparison. Van Gaal is a kn0b and ruining a magnificent talent.

Borre had everything but finishing in qualifiers. But our coach is Fing awful. I like this kid a lot needs to gain some strength but other then that he will be awesome in 2 years. Like a team to buy him and send him to a bottom feeder team to develop

He's not playing. He is trying to come back from injury, but that's not a sure thing.

Aimar wipes his ass and gets a groin strain, such a shame, he's amazing.

So it's confirmed, there will be a new Boca-River, in this case in a real cup, the Libertadores. As a result, there'll be 3 Superclásicos in 10 days, this will be exiting

Palacio8: The current team is looking really good, and are in with a great shout for the Copa. As for the league, I'm concerned the European summer transfer window could derail Boca's chances. It's likely Osvaldo will return to England, Calleri may get sold, as might others. The squad may need to get rebuilt right in the middle of the season. Just another example of why this new league structure is utter madness.

Yeah, I just hope that a miracle happens and Tevez return to Boca in case Calleri and Osvaldo are sent away. Yet first I want them to win the Libertadores

Santos Borré scored again. This guy is fantastic, definetly a raw diamond, shame he's becoming a douchebag and a crybaby.

This Driussi guy from River impressed me yesterday, I also think Kranevitter could make it to Europe eventually. Pity too
