What a game Barcelona-Girona that was. I was worried in the first 30 minutes that Girona didn't make pressure in Barça area, but it came just before 15 minutes before HT.
I'm following this team a lot of this year, probably my fav of Spain along with Athletic de Bilbao.
I see Michel have some similar ideas to Limone in football possesion, in fact tactic is kind of similar except Girona plays with 1 alone striker and then 2 guys in the wings. Kind of 3-4-3 or 3-1-3-3. Sometimes the 2 fullbacks go almost to the wing so it's kind of play with 4 wingers and 1 killer striker up front...
Players i hope they don't leave next summer:
1. The 2 Ucranians are fucking class. I can't believe Girona payed so little for them, they can easily be sold to Premiership for 8 times more.
2. Aleix, this guy vision is crazy, he is playing a new role kind of Hakan for us, after being more a offensive midfielder and now playing regista.
3. Savinho, today decision making pretty bad but this guy is amazing, it's more close to Vinicius level than Rapiña right now. Should go to Brazil NT.
4. Gazzaniga. Amazing keeper they should keep
Blind is also amazing on defense but he is too old for big teams to be interesting. He is fucking perfect for this kind of formation as he is pretty good with the ball too.
Also very funny to see Eric Garcia (in Spain we call him Error Garcia *Error means mistake) to be much better than Kounde in that exact position.
Barcelona has some selfish and egocentric players like Cancelo or Joao Felix, and i love the fact that Inter or Girona don't have that kind of players. We used to had a lot back then. Thank you Limone.
