well, he coached Napoli and Everton, who are not really top teams. Perhaps he should have won at least a cup at Napoli, but thats about it. It will be much easier to win La liga with Real, than any trophy with Everton. And if he doesnt win, we all know what will happen. La liga is also the last trophy he needs to have all league titles from top 5 leagues. His Champions league record is also probably a reason they went for him instead of Conte.

I do realize that... But with that squad he himself built, I believe he would've been successful. Look at those names again that came when he was there. I wouldn't be saying that if he didn't win that 10th CL crown for them.

As for going into lesser clubs afterwards, I can't fault him for that. Bayern has internal issues with every coach that comes there so I'm not even gonna touch that. I'd treat Flick a lot nicer than how they did.

Perez on Raul and Casillas:
