Imo:
Barcelona, Atletico and Madrid will fight for the title, being Barcelona the favorites.
Valencia and Sevilla fight for 4th CL spot.
Then we have a bunch of teams which can be the surprise and enter Europa league in 6th/7th place: Real Sociedad, Celta, Athletic de Bilbao, Betis, Villarreal. I think Getafe and especially Espanyol will suffer more this season due to EL competition. On the bottom anything can happen, the 3 promoted teams can easily stay and one of the already said surprises like Villarreal can go down.

Do anyone outside of Spain (bar Barca/Real fans) genuinely care about La Liga?

I care about all the 5 big leagues in Europe. There's lots of good football out there.

Busquets was MOTM against Betis. Clearly always in control, getting so many interceptions it wasn't even funny.

Well he recovered after giving away the ball for betis' goal to go 1 down. But at least 2 or 3 of their goals were his direct interceptions so yeah...agreed.

I thought there was a lot of good play all around. Lenglet was excellent; FDJ, Perez, Rafinha & Griezmann all influenced the outcome as well. Plus, Sergi Roberto with 2 key assists

Yeah, but the fact that it was always him in the right place, at the right time. Agreed on Lenglet as well, it has to feel good for you when Ter Stegen or Messi (who didn't play ofc) aren't the clear MOTM.

When does Suarez return?

I love Sergio but I can't forgive him for the error that led to Fekir's goal but then Griezmann's error also led to Loren's golazo. MOTM I'd probably go Griezmann or Sergi Roberto

I believe the expectation is that Suarez is out 4-5 weeeks - basically after the September International break (away to Granada). Next match is a traditionally tricky fixture in Pamplona, unclear whether Messi will be there much less his Brasilian pal

Luis Enrique's daugher lost her battle against cancer, aged 9.

Luis Enrique's daughter Xana (9) has passed away after suffering from an illness. The former Barcelona coach stepped down as Spain manager two months ago to spend time with her

Marcelino was sacked by Valencia. His replacement is going to be Albert Celades. Baffling decision. He had done a good job at Valencia and he brought them their first trophy since 2008.
