it showed that bilan did the right thing when they extended him, it was even worth paying few million to Rangnick not to come to them

If he lasts till the derby I'm hoping that we finally get that 6-0 revenge. Then he can be sacked by Milan and we can do a vote on whether he's LGI or not.

He won Scudetto with Milan by beating Inter. He could never be LGI for me no matter what happens next Sunday

I think he's actually a decent coach, but he doesn't know how to handle mini-crises which eventually lead to meltdown. Same old problem again.
I agree, but also think he really struggles to pivot out of tactical set ups. He obviously found something that worked last season, but now that it isn't working anymore he's got no idea what to do.

As a result, I think there won't be much tactical planning for the derby, but he'll just work on his players' egos and pride in the hope it'll make them play better than they have been. I don't foresee it being an easy one for us, because his job might genuinely be on the line. And also because we're massive bottlers.

No match is easy for us until it's proven otherwise.

He’s like most of Italian coaches, failed to adapt change in environment, situations, especially when he’s found something worked for him. I’m not talking about in-game tactic because he’s made good adjustments during games. It’s like he doesn’t have any other plans outside plan A.

The only game that we were tactically inadequate was the 1st leg this season. Other than that, we trashed on them all over the place. SA, Copa, Super Copa.

Even the 2 league games last season, we dominated for most of the games, failed to capitalize and just made suicidal mistakes. I'm not saying they did not deserve the results, just that they never tactically neutralized us.

And yet they still won the Scudetto because we fell asleep for 20 minutes and thought the game was over.

These wins do not mean shit. The Super Copa is nothing but a glorified friendly and beating them in the Championship does not count for much when we were eliminated from contention a mere two months into the season.

But let's pat ourselves on the back because Milan never tactically neutralised us and we essentially helped Napoli to win the Scudetto when we were clearly unable to help ourselves.

Super Coppa didn't look like glorified friendly to me. Did you watch the match?

He overachieved with this Milan's squad and now he will be the first one to get the all negatives for their recent (normal) results. There is nothing wrong with it .

every milan fans out there were screaming for maignan, they single out tata as one of their main problem, but it was as clear as day for most of the spectators, no matter how good your gk is, if your team was disorganized , defense was a mess (for a title winning team), even a great gk will struggle, there are more than meet the eye
seeing milan like this hurt me even more, how we crumble like biscuit last year, we could have done a lot more to secure the title last time around
and pioli will always be pioli, both pioli and inzaghi for me personally belong to the same class, (not an elite coaches) they still need a lot to prove especially the latter.
inzaghi need to win serie a consistently , if he really want to be call an elite coach
what happened with milan at the moment could happen to inter next season, if the management can't invest wisely and correctly, we could in for a very bumpy ride, well anything can happen and we hope for the absolute best

Pioli is the one who made them relevant again. They are just very bad. He might not be ideal coach but the guy won Scudetto with a bunch of pseudo footballers.

It's no big deal to lose 5-1 against this Inter. We just trashed Viola 4-0, a very solid side that defeated Atalanta today.

I think people are underestimating Inter's capacity. We are just too damn good.
