I'm curious what we do with him. I believe his contract expires next year? If we loan him, I guess it's with a one-year contract extension so we don't lose him for free. Ideally we sell him but seems like a long shot. I guess last option is we keep him as a +1 player in addition to the 6 midfielders and 4 strikers?

Considering his cost, its a big risk - if he gets injured again its another 5-7mil out of our pocket (not sure what his salary is) for nothing.

We've got 6 midfielders, theres no space for him this season, just offload, at any cost.

Absolutely disagree. Find a place to give Correa away, have Sensi take his spot. Get one more striker. All 4 would get substantial playing time. Maybe Taremi is the way to go, at least he doesn't get injured for every contact made.

Also get one quality defender, Bisseck, Darmian, De Vrij, Acerbi, Bastoni is weak sauce. I don't want Dimarco at LCB, 5 players for 3 positions is NOT enough. Salzburg was torching this defence, we looked lost and afraid. If they scored the penalties, there would be a huge meltdown, but luckily we won the game.

Such a fun player to watch, I say risk it and keep him. I hope Samardzic turns out great for Inter, but can't shake off the feeling they could have used that money for Balogun, and kept Sensi for the rotation. But, the fact they haven't I guess says it all how much the management believes he'll stay healthy enough even for rotation.

At Inter: 29 games (19/20), 10 games (20/21), 8 games (21/22) and another 4 games while he was at Samp
At Monza: 6 games (22/23)

His record significantly improved last year (15-10-29-10-12-6). My fear is that this would greatly impact his playing style. Avoiding contact and hence being less aggressive.
